Zac,
Obviously Chase was saying for Tool and whomever to report previous offenders but I'm talking about for offenders in the future when we notice it in the present.
Like in real life when I make a mistake I'd much rather have someone rebuke me to my face right then and there rather than not correct me and go tell a higher up authority to correct me. Lets say I'm at work and I take a lunch break that's too long and make my co worker work extra hard to cover up for me. I'd much rather my co worker chew me out when I get back and tell me not to do that again and only take a 30 minute lunch break from now on, rather than him not say anything (though act steamy towards me) and go tell the boss who has to tell me the same thing or keep and eye on me.
I'm just looking at it from the perspective of if it were in real life and not virtual how would I want to have myself addressed if I didn't act right.
Though perhaps what you say is correct and there could be a piece of the puzzle I'm missing as to why that's the best route to go. Quite possible indeed.

Maybe I'm not looking at this right but to me it seems like if you pinpointed the mistakes of others and told them how to improve better next time, assuming they didn't realize they were being negative due to clouded emotion or assuming that they didn't realize that this isn't a place for that type of attitude, this would be better than PM a moderator and become sort of taddle tale.Just PM the moderators, as Chase noted himself. That will be easier than to pinpoint mistakes of others. That will not help anybody.
