If high quality girls are not superficial, why all the "alphaing"?

If high quality girls are not superficial, why bothering with walking with splayed legs, puffed chests and whatnot?

I can see it myself, when a friend who was a great guy was with a girl much taller and much more "beautiful" than he was.
And it makes me think of the importance of social circle in those cases: social circle is great to highlight your "non physical qualities" as you need more time for those to manifest and the people in the social circle highlight them by showing (some sort of) admiration/respect.

Probably trying to tell people they are "alpha". And i used to be the "loud guy". But as Chase mention, and i see this time and time again, the guy who has a beautiful girlfriend with a great personality tend to be a guy who is relatively laid back, or very low profile.

I see it all the time.

lucifer7 (by the way i REALLY hate that name), what Chase was saying is that there are some flashy girls that are not that beautiful, but they become flashy to attract high quality guys. while they are beautiful girls that don't need to be flashy because they are naturally (genetically) beautiful and have more than enough orbiters, chasers, providers, male friends that they don't need to become flashy... these kind of girls already have enough attention without even trying... I hope you understand what I just wrote.

Yeah, but many pick up suggestions still ring like the flashy equivalent of 2kg of make up (puff your chest, take up as much space possible, strike a pose when you enter a club or come out of the sea... Reminds me of the cocky Italian guys at the beach ).

Lucifer is actually close to my real name and the days I registered I was listening to Rolling Stones "Sympathy for the devil".
