Even though I have read GC for a few months now, I post this thread as a thread where you guys can give me some feedback and advice about my situation.

I am looking for comments, suggestions, and other helpful tips by members on this board along the way.

I turned 21 earlier this year and as pathetic as it sounds I have not lost my virginity and am still kissless too. As to what circumstances led to this:

- homeschooled so not much interaction with other kids
- town I was in was poor and mostly full of ugly girls (women from trailer parks, ghettos, and retired people)
- situation above led to me not caring about being a virgin

Have talked about this in past threads but I believe the past is the past, I want to move forward.

What I think my strong points are

+ I think I am better looking than the average guy
+ I am not shy talking to hot girls or cute girls
+ I am social and can connect with different kinds of people without any issues
+ I have been reading seduction material long enough to know not to make common mistakes (getting too attached, clingy, etc.)

What I think my weak points are

- I am a bit shy to show affection in public
- I don't have as much time to go out as I used to because I work and am an engineering major
- As a result of the above I don't think I escalate as well
- Though I am good looking I am in an area where my look isn't really preferred (middle eastern looking guy in TN)

I know I shouldn't be having any standards at this point but here are some things I look for in a girl:

We all know that I am not landing some bombshell right out of a porno so lets get that out of the way. 9s and 10s are out of my league for now because I am so inexperienced but I believe 5s, 6s, and 7s should be in my league.

I am just not attracted to Black or Asian girls that I have been around, we don't have many Asian girls in my area but we do have a sizable black population. All other races I am into but it just leaves White girls who are a sizable population. Won't be going after obese girls or girls with deformed faces and that is about it for my standards. Hope I find some girls of other races (latina, middle eastern, mixed) along the way too.

Location:

I don't live in a big city but I do live about 3 miles away from a university with a lot of students. Breaking into the social circles is hard, especially since I transferred from a community college.

Read: How Victim Mentality Can Stifle Your Life – and Luck with Women
and this: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3701

What you think of yourself reflects towards other people and no one wants to be friends with someone who is always complaining and feeling sorry for themselves :/
People want builders, people who raise them up and provide positive energy. If you don't know how to do that, then read Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins. Read like 10 pages a day, that simple. If you can't or are too lazy, go on youtube and just watch the guy and observe how positive he is. How self-assured he is. How all he wants is to help you and get you on the path towards living your destiny.

As Estate pointed out in another thread, I understand I am coming across as bitter. My comment about being different looking in TN was not needed but factually it is something that can be a hindrance, not as much as I push it to be though. What I have realized is that a lot of the tight knit sorority girls are out of my reach but there have to be other options. I know little of the dating culture here and cold approaches are seen as pretty weird or odd since the community is generally more tight knit.

I have read the Victim Mentality post about 6 times now because it has resonated so well with me, come to think of it is how I found this site in the first place. As for the thread by Zphix, I will look through it read it in the coming days little by little to see how I can improve.

The stuff like Tony Robbins I have seen in the past years. Used to watch a lot of material by Tyler from RSD Nation and it does help better the mindset of mines which has gradually improved overtime. I guess I just suck portraying my ideas on an internet forum because I keep bringing in some of the negativity.

Thank you Wisefool.
