Is it ever okay to let a girl lead a date

Suppose if you asked her out on a date. You have only been in the city for a few weeks, but she's basically a local who's been in the city for a couple of years.

Would it be better to ask her to suggest places to go?

Hey Ryan,

On the most part, it's probably not something I'd do just for the sake of managing logistics. If she chooses a location that is a half hour away from yours, for example, then it's hard to get her back to your place later on.

If you are new to that city, it makes for great opening conversations asking her a few places that are good to go to. That way you can do a little research later on and see which one has optimal logistics.
