After lectures, when I know that the next place I'm about to go is home, I often kind of stand around hoping that I'll see someone I know, or that I'll be able to get in on a conversation or something. I often feel like it's a shame to just go straight home when nothing has really happened with the day.
But one day, when I was standing around, I noticed one of the cool guys leaving. He was walking on his own, but what was interesting was that he was walking fast! And by the time he had walked a little further, a girl shouted "bye Shane"... just to make him look more cool. The point is that he looked like he'd somewhere important to go. Where as I can only imagine how I might have looked if I was even noticed!
I suppose it's best to just keep a watchful eye out when leaving the lecture hall, and then just head away quickly if you don't see anyone you know. Anyone here have similar thoughts? What do you guys think?
