I just read chase's articles on dating women as an older man. He says you have to be exceptional and retired By 33. My question is what if a regular guy in his thirties just finds this site and is not what chase describes as exceptional? Is it too late for him to start?
If it was too late to start seducing women in 30's, it would mean that only guys in 20's can get laid. Which is not true.
There are two ways to look at seduction:
(A) Seduction is very difficult because it take lots of time to master the material, and true - there is lots of material to cover and it does take time to practice...
(B) Seduction is fairly easy because there is already natural attraction between man and woman, and any average guy just need little bit of tweaking to get laid...
So Guy (A) goes and he studies and studies seduction, and the more he knows the more is there is to know. He is overwhelmed with the material, he is always seeking ways to master every single problem. He wants to be perfect seducer, he wants to always seduce in the perfect way, he wants to know every possible mistakes he's ever made, he wants to know what everything means, understands all the clues and hints... He wants to be Casanova with at least 200+ lays. And it is not bad, some guys become that...
Guy (A) then goes and sees a woman. But first, he's got to put her on scale and assign certain value to her. Is she 7 or 8 out of 10? Damn, now he remembers, he read that he shouldn't use any more scales. So damn confusing. Then he's got to find out any possible signs that she is interested. Then he's got to make sure his confidence level is up, he's got to get into certain mind state - he's got to check his belief system whether she is sexy and cute, or just slutty girl.... Then he is approaching, but wait - from which angle? He can't just walk directly towards her, that would be too obvious! He's got to approach from 30 degree angle, that is only after he walks around and pretends that he didn't noticed her at all. Does he give her confident look - 3 seconds or 4? Are all logistics in place? Does he look mysterious enough? Is he enough of an asshole today? Oh good, now he is relieved, he can be an asshole today so everything is perfect. That all after he practiced sexy smiles and walks hundreds of times in front of the mirror back in his room... Thousands of things to do - before he even says Hi...
Guy (B) says: Fuck it all, I am a man and want woman, I just want to get laid. I'll use what I know and I'll do my best, and I'll do it today. Like right now. If I screw up today, oh well, tomorrow is another day but at least I tried. And he goes, sees a good looking woman, he smiles and he says: Hi. Good to meet you, my name is XYZ...
Who is more successful? Probably Guy (A), but that doesn't mean that Guy (B) is doing bad. Not at all, he might actually do quite well, he might get laid on the first date as well just because is is sincere enough in his effort...
So start being Guy (B), you can be Guy (A) later. Forget everything, forget your sexiness, forget your facial hair, forget what you know about seduction, forget your beliefs and confidence, forget your skin color and forget your age... Know nothing, be dumb. Just take a deep breath, hit your chest with your fist and say "I'm a fucking man and I'm gonna get laid - TODAY!" - and then simply walk to her, smile, and just say Hi...
You'll learn the as you go, start with fundamentals - and 80% of all you need to do is done... Do it today, do it when you are 20, 30, 50 or 60 years old... It was working for hundreds of millions of years before we were here, and there is no reason why it shouldn't work for another million of years...

As far as I understand, Chase has retired from active duty in relation to writing regular weekly chunk of articles for GC and not from seducing women - so from which place exactly do you get the (wrong) idea that after 30 it is time for seduction retirement?
Also, bear in mind that you have to be (truly) exceptional if you want to become XXI-century-Casanova - but being such a person isn't necessary for living a fulfilling, 'sexy' life in the same way as you don't have to be Messi-style-exceptional to play football or Mozart-like-guy to make great art or Einstein-wise to do something great in science etc. You will improve on the way, so don't think about being the first in the marathon before even starting in it.
