Hey Everyone,
This is my first post on the site but I am a huge fan of the site. I would appreciate if people could listen to what happen to me recently and give their opinion on it:
I've recently went on a first date with two people online and almost went on a third (flaked last minute). I met all 3 on different sites. However, what I ended up noticing is that basically all 3 of them ended up disabling their online accounts almost immediately after messaging/seeing them. I will describe each case below:
1st Girl ( 1st Date): Honestly I thought this date went amazing (but it was also my first online date). We got along great and had a lot of fun. I wasn't really expecting anything after the date but she basically invited herself over to my house and ended up staying the night (Thurs). I thought the whole time we got along really well and it wasn't awkward at all. She had to leave early in the morning for work and before she left we made out and she said we would see each other soon (she also made other inferences during the night that we would see each other again). She texted me later in the day. We also exchanged a few texts the next day (Sat). On Tuesday I sent her a text and got no response. That Friday I sent another text and about 30 minutes after sending the text I noticed she disabled her online profile. No contact since.
2nd Girl (Flake): She said she was new to online dating so I told her if she wasn't ready to meet someone yet it was fine but she said she was still interested in meeting up. We ended up finalizing our plans for dinner on a friday for the next day. The next day (Sat) she sent a text saying she didn't feel well and doesn't usually flake but said she wouldn't be able to go out tonight. She did ask if we could reschedule. I told her that was fine and got no response. Two days later (Monday) I texted her how she was feeling and got no response. I then noticed she disabled her account. In this situation i think she just realized she didn't want to do online dating because she was new. No contact since.
3rd Girl (1st Date): had no issue setting up our first date lunch. We had our date and even though we had a great convo and it wasn't awkward at all but it did feel like something was missing. The date was on a saturday. The next day I told her I enjoyed meeting her and she responded she also had fun. Even though I felt like something was missing, I felt like asking her to go on a second date to give it a chance. She replied honestly saying i was interested and really enjoyed the lunch but didn't feel we really connected. So, unlike me, she did not feel like giving a 2nd date a chance. The next day I go on this online site and I find out she disabled her account..
I usually don't believe in coincidences so i'm wondering if this is because I am doing something wrong or should I not worry about it? I just can't believe the odds that the 3 people I have had the most interaction with online all disabled their accounts right after contact with me. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
