How about getting a little debate going on some old school stuff... lets get this forum talking again!

Let's take a bar setting, what is everyone's favourite type of ways to open girls?

For me situational opening has ALWAYS worked best but the downside is... unless there is some sort of "situation" and it's truely spur of the moment then it comes off cheesy or scripted, especially in a bar scene where the surroundings are generally the same, so it's hard to rely on.

I hate opinion or compliment openers... I don't know why, thye just don't seem natural to me.

I LOVE just saying "HI!" Maybe follow up that she looks cute or something, or else I just transition straight after the Hi. No guarantees on this one... you need a quick transition to hook her.

And one that has actually worked really well but I don't always do it unless I'm feeling ballsy. Usually you need to be a little animated or be in a fun conversation, or be enjoying the music... basically look like you're having the best fun in the place at that moment... simply turn, catch the girls eye (she needs to be within some proximity but not right next to you) extend your arm fully and becon her over.
I can say this has had a VERY high success rate for me if I can catch the girls eye immediately. It's ballsy though so I use it in high energy places, I need to psych myself up for it. But I love doing this one. If she complies, the fact that you were that confident seems to mean she'll be pretty warm to you.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Hey Estate, the other day I opened a redhead without uttering a word, it was through body language and eye contact. She was standing in the street texting or something, and what I mean is that she looked back and smiled before I'd even had a chance to speak... like she knew what I was about. My first word was "Hello", which I let hang until I was actually close enough for dialog. I went direct pretty quick (not difficult: her hair really was incredible), asked her about herself and built some rapport, but I neglected to deep dive and when I sent my icebreaker text (she gave me her business card) I actually received the reply "Who?": exactly like in Chase's article 20 Texting Tips! She's lost, I'm afraid. But I want to use that pre-opening technique again.
