This is the third time I'm typing this as my writing got wiped twice after typing. It really pissed me off.
The thing I love about GC is the fact that it's not just seduction that is taught but also how to make improvements generally in life. So that's why I have decided to make this post as I feel that so many of you here can give me quality advice. I have been having a difficult time due to some limitations that have been holding back my growth. Here's a little background info on me: The three things that are most important to me right now are writing (it's a talent I've always had and I'm passionate about), business (I've got great ideas to that would provide essential services and I've made research and found out that they're quite lucrative. I've studied books on business too and I'm very passionate about it) and most recently, the social arts. I come from a lower middle class background and I will be going for my second year in college next month, studying English. Before I jump right to listing out my limitations in the trio, I'd like you to note that your advises/suggestions should be universal and not only tailored to suit certain demographics (e.g U.S) as we might come from different countries whose realities differ. Now that being said, here they are
SOCIAL ARTS
These are my limitations
1. Money - this is my major limitation to fully immersing myself in learning the social arts as I need money to:
*Rent an apartment for seduction sake so as to learn how to escalate properly and for comfort sake. The hostels over here are not suited to get intimate with girls (I was tempted to explain why but honestly, it would take lots of words to explain why this is and how things are over here)
*Go on dates with girls
*Hang out (this is for the sake of socialising and meeting girls) - these include clubbing (you'll need to buy drinks and pay taxi fare), going for shows and parties (you'll need to buy tickets/I.Vs even for the major parties they throw over here), going to the cinema, etc
*Buy GC materials and subscribe so as to boost my learning curve
2. Schooling (time) - I had some bad grades last semester so I need to work hard to make up for it when school resumes. Honestly I haven't been successful in killing two birds with one stone (an allusion to The Tool's post on schooling and picking up girls). I find it hard to study while also doing other stuffs like socialising, pick up, hitting the gym, trying to make money, etc.
3. Present environment - this is temporal as I'll be leaving home next month when school resumes
Efforts I'm Making:
*I practice my fundamentals daily
*I try to get into a conversation with everyone I come across (although I don't go out much and my present environment (home) is quite serene)
*I'm trying to save up some money (although it's not really forthcoming)
BUSINESS
Well this one is quite tricky but I and my brother have been working on an event that's supposed to be annual. We've been making slow but steady progress and it's supposed to happen at the end of the first quarter of next year. As for a business with a more stable income, we're trying to raise capital for a start up. I also need to finish up my first degree so I can go for an MBA and write an exam to qualify as an investment banker (this is for the purpose of making some money and to have a deeper understanding of the stock/financial market so as to help me branch out into my own business). So I can't afford to mess with my grades here.
WRITING
You all would think that studying English makes me privileged as it would help my writing. Well what is taught in school and the type of writing I'd like to do are quite different. It's not helping me in the right way. Don't get me wrong what I'm learning is helping me improve my knowledge of English generally but it's not tailored to suit my specific needs. (I understand that studying English in my country might be different from studying it in a place like say, U.S where you might have options of courses like, novel writing, script writing, fiction and non fiction writing, etc or I might be wrong as I've never lived in America)
Efforts I'm Making:
I'm searching to find courses tailored to suit me online but I'm not sure if I'll have the time for this as I need to work harder on my academics (school sucks)
Pls anyone that has suggestions on how to improve my grades should let me know. If not for the fact that I'm naturally gifted and intelligent I'd probably fail my courses as I find it hard to concentrate and study hard (blame it on youthful exuberance or whatever).
P.S I'm not displaying a victim mentality here and neither do I believe that this obstacles are bigger than me. I know I'll overcome this challenges and find great success in life in those three areas. The purpose of writing this is to get some possible insights that I might have not realised, on how to move past all of these.
