Hey.. so, my usual pickup spot is in my neighborhood around the corner from my place by the bodega.. this is in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn , not the worst neighborhood.. but because I'm a usual here, some chicks get mad when I greet them because I'm guessing they've tracked my patterns already, and , as always, there'll always be riffraff types of chicks in every neighborhood.. so, what to do now? Continuing doing pickup here? Or move to another venue

Bro. Go three blocks away - there are tons of women in your hood and in Bushwick. What’s with the obsession with ghetto? Just go to a different spot.

Locomoting takes energy and effort and I play sports a lot and move around a lot so I need to conserve. I'm not in a bad neighborhood in itself but could be better

Ozzy - walk three blocks away. You can do this. Your neighborhood is one of the fastest gentrifying in the city. There are tons of women who are not ghetto who live there. If you just try a little bit you will find a different spot.

Also if you are being pushy, and continue to just vibe in the same spot, you will just annoy the women there. Of course, you are finding this out. Why would you even think that you should continue in that same spot?

Maybe just stick with "hello" when you are in your local spot, and let it cool down. Try different openings when you're moving to other spots.

Okay, so I'm here in "Bushwick". Which area in specific do I check out?

You're looking to practice pickup? Approaching? Not becoming a neighborhood creep? All the above?

Yes go into a bar, lean back, chill.

Please read the intro by @Chase - he wrote this specifically for people who need to understand the social layout. It can be helpful as a cultural guide! --> https://www.skilledseducer.com/threads/cold-approach-beginners-where-to-not-to-mass-approach.28444/

Edit: Specifically for you i want to point out this passage as it seems to answer quite a few of your questions.
  • Small bars. You can do some degree of mass approaching in a bar, but you probably should not be doing more than 3-7 approaches per hour maximum, depending on the size of the bar and how visible your approaches are to the rest of the staff and patrons there. I would recommend no more than two nights per week at any given small bar you want to mass approach at, and preferably only once a week. Also, if you plan to be there often, get there early, get to know the staff when it isn't busy, be likable and friendly, and tip well.

Yeah on low-income what's best for me is to head to a place like Williamsburg where there's a large strip of bars and clubs etc and hover around that neighborhood and pick out whichever hb10 is walking around in that area, crossing the street or going home etc and hope to extend an interaction and build rapport

You will likely need to work on your language, presentation and general health. Otherwise, you risk being percieved as "ghetto" by the HB10.

I think you also need to just work on your goals for yourself: What are your goals? HB10 in Williamsburg? One night stand? Girlfriend? This will help you figure out what you need to work on.

Good luck.

This thread clarifies your last post about approaching ghetto people in NYC. Like others have said there are some really nice areas in Brooklyn/Williamsburg. Also try new things, take the subway to the Lower East Side or East Village and bar hop there on a weekend night. There are a lot more opportunities if you go outside your comfort zone.
