I went to a university where Greek Life practically ran everything and if you weren't Greek, then you were one of those dorks who stayed in on weekends studying or playing videogames. As hyped as they may have been, my college years were some of the loneliest years of my life because I had so much difficulty maintaining a social circle, having people to go out with, and I was never invited to the parties. My college was filled with stuck up wealthy kids so as a guy from a rural part of the Midwest, it wasn't exactly the best fit for me.
Now that I am out of college, I have had some success with women but I have not had any luck getting a social circle growing. No group of friends to go out and enjoy New Year's Eve with or people to enjoy a Halloween party with.
I am in my late 20s now and I feel kind of discouraged. It seems like so many people my age are having kids, too busy with their careers, and no one has the "time" to really hang out and party like they did in college.
It seems like my vision of having a large social circle with a mix of guys and girls just isn't doable for most guys my age.
Is it too late to have a social circle and make a lot of new friends once you're done with college?
