I sometimes feel that a post is too scattered, too many bits of unconnected information and no clear sense of what is being asked, or simply little to no effort in putting together a question with appropriate background information and context designed to elicit useful information and solve a problem. If I feel I have to do the questioner's work for them, why even bother? Especially in a forum like this which is designed to encourage guys to be high value men, it's fine to not know something, but how you handle that lack of knowledge is of critical importance.
Besides that, there are plenty of topics that I do not have expertise in or significant interest. Or I just do not think it important enough. Generally if I see a dude apply the advice given and come back and say "thanks for the detailed advice, I tried it in XXX situation and YYY happened, is that what you expected? What should I have done then?" then I'll be very disposed to help next time, or if I see him being dismissive or having unrealistic expectations then I just won't bother, because I like to put my time and effort where it will be useful, not just bash my head against a brick wall, haha.
