Interesting article: Woman harassed 108 times in 10 hours
http://nypost.com/2014/10/28/woman-hara ... c-streets/

Who really cares about the harassment, but this article gives really a good perspective on how many times PER DAY decent looking woman has to "reject" men. Just by walking on the street, this woman was hit on almost 11x per hour, that's once every 5-6 minutes. Imagine at workplace or some social club...

She is in "rejection mode" by default, she's got high supply of men every day and needs to 'eliminate' more than 99%... She has to, she really has no choice...

Can't get her phone number and date no matter what you do? Maybe it's not really you, it's the other 99% of the guys....

Why is it that almost all of them are black, and why isn't anyone talking about THAT?

That is why I have found Chase's Indirect, direct approach to be the best way to cold approach on the street.

If you are a guy approaching a girl on the street, the first thing on their mind is "here's another one."

So when you ask them something innocuous, it's a little relief. Then when you go for hitting on them, the thought generally changes to "oh, he's clever, let's see where this goes..."

Then you let your fundamentals and relaxed, sexy vibe carry you from there.

It's a silly video, and I'm not actually sure if it's trolling. I only saw 2 or 3 guys that actually did what I would be considering 'harassment' in my dictionary, and they really just had bad game tbh. If a girl's not interested, you simply back off.
There are a few catcalling like "damn" that would be really annoying if I was the girl, but the rest of the stuff like "Hey beautiful" "how you doing? ...have a nice day alright" seems perfectly fine to me. Even in the newbie assignment, you start with this kinda stuff.
I laughed in the beginning when one guy said she should smile more. I bet he just wanted to cheer her up.
It's this kinda video that put people off to approach that cute girl they see during the day because it gets them stuck in that vicious cycle in their mind.
It's like Chase said in one of his article. If you put off cold approaching because you don't want to inconvenient the girls that don't like you, you're also avoiding girls who DO like you.
And what's the point of donating money to these people? to discourage socializing with other humans?
It's not the guys' fault to try and start a conversation with her, and most guys in the video left her alone when she doesn't seem interested.
And man, they don't even know how much courage it takes for some guys to even start a conversation with a cute girl.

If they really wanted to stop 'real' street harassment, this was a bad video to prove their point. Plus she knew she was being filmed, so she had to 'act' cold anyway.

edit: It's not creepy to hit on a girl, it's only creepy if you keep going when she doesn't like it.

I actually chatted with a female friend and her sister about this video yesterday.

The fact is, the guys executed the approach extremely poorly on top of having terrible fundamentals. Try to imagine this...how would you feel after 100 ugly girls with terrible fundamentals attempted to open you in ways similar to what the guys did in the video? Maybe you'd feel flattered at first, but you'd eventually get annoyed right?

A chat excerpt very relevant to this thread:
Unfortunately, the good ones do, at times, slip through the cracks because we have been exposed to harassment all of our lives that we have become numb to sincerity. ... but a girl is never sure. So, many of us just ignore every hello
On a positive note, she also told me that girls do recognize genuine approaches, and in my experience, they appreciate it A LOT as well. I've had a total of a bit over 100 approaches now during the day, and only about 5 of them gave me bad responses (they ignore me, give me a very bored look, and/or walk away). Everyone else at least smiled, a good amount of girls were very flattered, and about 5 were so flattered that they couldn't even speak for a few seconds. And this is even if they ended up rejecting me.

So for those of you who are new to this: don't be afraid to day game. Just make sure you're confident, have good fundamentals, smile, be normal (stay the fuck away from lines/routines/gimmicks and the silly shit SimplePickup does), and MAKE SURE TO STOP THEM if they're walking--don't pull a weakass "hello.." or a "excuse me..." passing-by attempt like what all those guys in the video did.

The video really is feminazi propaganda. Think about it...she walked for 10 damn hours, she passed by 108 men who were ballsy enough to say anything, yet all they could conjure up was a 2-minute video where more than half of the guys were simply saying "how are you?" and "have a nice day"? I counted about 15 of those and about 10 of "bad" ones, and I counted the guys who said "Damn!" as bad. It's sad because shit like this makes men more afraid to be social and makes them more asexual.

Oh well, at least it reduces competition for us...

They're all black because she chose that location on purpose. She knows she could walk around Chinatown for 1000 hours and she'd get close to nothing. Look at the surroundings--the other pedestrians, the cars, the buildings, etc...and when she does actually go to an upscale area, it's at night, when the "cat callers" come out (this is similar to Hollywood...the people who are out and about during the night and day are as different as night and day).

At 1:14, you see a store called Jimmy Jazz written in huge green letters. That store has NO locations in Manhattan, despite the video claiming that she walked all over Manhattan. CLEARLY she was targeting areas where she knew she'd get cat called.

Fuck you, feminazis.

Actually there are two in NYC, one in Queens and Brooklyn. Just clarifying that.

I actually researched a second time. There are 3 in Manhattan (2 in Harlem and 1 waaay up north). There are a bunch of stores in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens, which aren't Manhattan.

She isn't walking by any of the 3 in Manhattan. You can verify this using the street view feature of Google Maps and the addresses from jimmyjazz.com store locator.

What's funny is I have a friend from college who is one of those "SJW" (social justice warriors, or whatever they call it) commenting about this on his FB page. The minute I try to engage him in this he immediately accuses me of victim blaming and claiming I have no perspective on this issue.

There is just a never ending supply of evidence how far I've come from where I used to be and being incapable of talking to girls. I dislike arrogant attitudes, but honestly, we are better than most guys. We have a skill that they don't and they don't want to work hard enough for it.

The other thing I have a problem with this video about is that women claim they hate being catcalled. But we all know that what women say and what they believe are often opposite. Deep down women love being cat called - it's an ego boost.

No different than when a girl says I don't like being touched - yes they do, they just don't like it when a guy they don't like touches them. Or any hundreds of other things they say they don't like.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

The video is crap, I don't agree with the harassment at all. I just wanted to pointed out that a decent looking girl gets 'hit' on many times per day, week after week, year after year... And because of that she probably think that "most guys are stupid", therefore looks at most approaches with some skepticism. So when a decent guy approaches her he has to prove that he's worth it....

True, most of these 'hits' are plainly stupid, annoying at best. At the same time, many "pick up lines" are stupid as well, girls can probably smell the 'cleverness' right away. Its the same, she might be amused at first but if she sees this kind of approach week after week it must be annoying as well: A guy comes to her, starts with some smart opener, gets her number - and disappears. He calls back within 2 days and asks for date. Wouldn't you get bored? Just makes you wonder why a guy can get 100 numbers but not a single date...

And agreed, good for us - with this kind of approach most guys eliminates themselves right on the spot, thus less competition for normal approach...
