Im staying at a hostel right now in Barcelona. 2 days ago I befriended a group of 3 girls from Ecuador- pretty cute and 2/3 were single.
Two days ago I was experimenting with preselection and befriended this group of girls to see if other girls would gravitate towards me. We just joked and had fun, no hitting on them.
Yesterday, I woke up, met up with them and we all went to a tattoo parlour because they were getting tattoos. I sat and watched for a bit, then told them I had some errands to run. They tried to get me to stay.
Late last night the 4 of us started drinking and I told them we should go to a bar. While out with these girls as their "friend" (i even told them that we were all friends) I had a new and interesting perspective:
I knew that 2/3 girls wanted sex that night, and I got to see from inside a girls' group which of the guy's approaches worked and what didnt.
What worked
It worked when 2 guys would hit on 2 girls since I was a third guy and there were 3 girls. Any different number of guys and it didnt feel like we could really be comfortable with that group of guys and mesh with them.
Guys who met us outside of the bar had the best chances- when we were just chilling in the plaza.
Another thing that worked is guys not being presumptuous or too obvious that they were looking for sex.
Therefore, the guys with the best chance were 2 guys who started sharinng a bottle of wine with us outside the plaza. They had good fundamentals, were funny, non-threatening and just wanted to make the girls have a good time.
The girls actually chased these guys later on in the night and I tried really hard to get these 2 guys to take us all back to their apartment. However, they just wanted to go to sleep that night.
What didnt work
Any converse of the previous statements didnt work: any number of guys other than 2 (unless 1 guy could isolate a girl and escalate sexually, which none could).
Isolating one girl and not escalating sexually with her quickly and moving her away from our group. One girl being watched by our whole group placed a lot of pressure on everyone.
Going straight for the girl who had a boyfriend. I wouldnt know how to avoid this, but if guys went for this girl they immediately had no chance. This could be avoided by guys screening girls early on for being single.
Conclusion
Here are the two approaches that would have worked for guys looking to infiltrate my group:
1. One guy in the bar hitting on one girl, escalating quickly, and moving the girl away SO WE CANT SEE HER. It is really key that we cant see her, as that is what creates the pressure.
2. Two friendly guys outside the bar just looking to get to know people. I was routing the most for these guys and they had by far the best chance, but no matter how many "green light" signals I would give them they wouldnt move us to a seduction location.
Being the Alpha Male
I feel like my fundamentals are fairly solid at this point so I basically spent the night being the alpha male for these 3 girls: I got to decide which guys could join our group and which I would not allow.
There were several instances when an alpha from another group of guys would try and take the 3 girls for his group. I basically had to out-fundamental him by holding eye contact until he looked down. Once this happened he realized these were my girls and he would submit and leave or play by my rules and try to win my trust (which I would never give).
Kind of an interesting night, and I dont know how ethical it is for me to play judge and jury for other guys, but oh well. I felt like it was a great learning experience.
