I've met a girl from Ukraine on the internet. We have casually been mailing back and forth for half a year. Not far ago I suggested I come and visit her in the summer, which she thinks is really cool, and looks forward to. I feel like I need to find out if she really sees me as potential boyfriend, or if we only are "penpals". I have told her I want to meet her in order to see if we are a match and when I asked her what her toughts are about this she got somewhat diffuse. She said she wish me all the best. Any suggestions on how I could ask her if she really sees me as a potential boyfriend?

You see her as a friend, and should you two really do click with each other, it will naturally happen.
Now that she knows you're going for that purpose, she feels like you are trying to qualify her for smething more which she may not even had in mind the first place. Don't ever give your game away.

In that case, she could be nervous, and she may be low confident in herself.
Best thing to do is just fly over as a friend who wants to meet up, and have her take you around.
Then see if she likes you in that way. Its much easier to see her reactions physically than it is over the internet.

Nice job with a Ukrainian girl, such natural beauty in that region. In addition to what Light said, I'd be apprehensive about mentioning the subject again if it seemed awry with her. In fact, I've never had a good experience with asking a girl our relationship status before intimacy. This goes back to what Chase has mentioned in a few articles on this site, that the girl has control over the relationship until you've gotten intimate with her. After that, the balance of power is favored on you, since the girl is working to place you in a committed relationship (usually marriage). Ultimately, you get the reigns and decide whether you and her are "officially" dating or not after being intimate (a few times, at least).
As always, it's good to meet new women and keep up the abundance mentality you have so, if things get turbulent during the transition phase, you can always keep your cool.
