Meeting girls friends

I've been casually dating a girl for a month or 2 (probably 5 dates, sex each time). She's invited me out with her friends this weekend. I don't want a girlfriend, and it feels like by agreeing I'm moving down that road. But I do enjoy having her as a lover - how should I handle this?

I think Chase addressed this in one of his posts, not sure which one. Basically she wants to show you off to her friends, sort of a "Hey, look at this awesome guy! Bet you're all so jealous" type thing. There's no harm in going with her. If you make a good impression on them, all the better for you.

With this kind of thing, treat it the same as you would anyone who was inviting you out to things you didn't want to go with but whom you couldn't ignore outright. Just tell her something like, "Hey, thanks for the invite - I'll let you know if I can make it!" and then just don't get in touch. Or, "Already heading out with a couple of my pals - maybe next time!"

People get the hint after a couple of attempts, and stop inviting you out. She'll realize you're never available / aren't into going out with her friends, and she won't know why, she'll just feel awkward about inviting you out, like she's bothering you. Then, she'll stop doing so.
