Just got done reading the article on The law of Least Effort, and while it was very informative, I'm still trying to understand it. I was wondering if someone could give me a summary of it, and notable examples on how to use it for everyday situations. Thanks to those that post!

Law of Least Effort - Getting the most results while either expending the least energy, or seemingly expending the least energy.
Let's look at boxing:
One guy is calm, composed, and throwing calculated punches. The other guy is angry, out of breath, stuck on defense. Who is getting the most results while using the least energy? In this case it's a no-brainer.
This also applies in seduction and pick-up: if you're relaxed, leaning back, talking to some hot chick but not really doing much besides just chilling and talking and she's leaning in, trying to get you to talk more, trying to get you to notice her, she's trying to bump up her value... then who is doing the least work while getting the largest return? The chill guy.
Make sense?

Definitely apply it everywhere.
With seduction though, the way I see it is simple:
Some guys want to learn shocking openers, they over-think it... "I'll jump from a bush, tell her she's sexy, then have a story about x, y and z. Then I false time constraint, then move her, then run a story,..........."
The reality is, 20 minutes has gone by and the girls just thinks this is all weird.
What you could do is just see a girl and say "Hi!".
It takes 2 seconds. And if she just doesn't respond, say "Hi!" to someone else... now only 4 seconds has gone by, you've approached 2 women. And if that second girl smiles, you just use the other 19 minutes and 56 seconds you spend on the first example, having a quick conversation with this girl, crack a joke, ask her if she'd like to grab a drink sometime, take her number, go have a sandwich, scratch your ass and learn a sonnet.
Ok, ok, I'm exaggerating. But it's simple. Don't over-engineer things. Don't waste time. Do the simple things right, if she's responding, AWESOME! If she's not, just smile, wish her a good day and approach a different girl.
That's why it's frustrating when guys AGONIZE over "that one girl" for months, trying to come up with all sorts of schemes and situations to make her fall in love, meanwhile she's not interested.
