I gave my field report that title on purpose to hold a sharp contrast with my last FR. My approaches today went smoothly and every girl I approached was receptive from the beginning. Too bad I didn't capitalise on it to approach as many girls as possible. I was very much occupied.
Before The Approach
I woke up but didn't have time to meditate as I was busy writing my previous field report. And once I was done, I needed to rush to school. Here's how I dressed. I wear a light blue button down short sleeved shirt, a deep blue slim jeans and a deep blue sneakers. I have on as usual my god necklace with a ring as a pendant (I've been getting much attention because of this). My haircut is currently fades at the sides and back with the front part being much. As I arrive school, the thought that I needed to approach as soon as possible was in my head.
Warm up approaches
So as I was walking, I spot a girl. As walk to catch up with her, she meets her friend and they are both engrossed in discussion so change my mind. Gotta get that first approach even though it's a hi. In my faculty I see a girl headed towards me and I say "Hello, wait a minute! I just had to tell you I really like your hair". She says thank you with a big smile on her face. She's not pretty plus it was just for practice so I move on. I attend a meeting and in between I excuse myself to pee. Climbing through the stairs in my faculty, I see a girl with a nice dress and I look into her eyes and say "I love the dress". She says thank, but she's too shy to look at me. I get back to my meeting and it takes really long. After the meeting I head to the hospital to get some medication. In there I spot some cute girls. One is sitting in front of me but she looks really sick. Her friends keep on coming and going, checking up on her. There's another cute girl afar off who seemed to be staring at me. But I stare back briefly. Damn it! should have used my peripherals. I wait for quite a while. I sit there and watch as so many pretty girls walk past me leaving the hospital. Should I have followed them outside and approached? After seeing the doctor who tells me I can't lift weights till I'm properly healed, I head for class. I spot some girls I should have approached but didn't. And then I saw from behind, a girl with a killer walk. Gotta say hi.
First major approach
I rush to catch up with her and I say
Me: Hello ( I smile at her and she smiles back. with that smile I just knew that she was into me from the beginning. too bad she wasn't pretty). I saw you from afar walking and I just had to tell you...you have a killer walk. Like a model on the runway
Her: thank you (from her attitude, she wanted me to continue talking. God! why wasn't she at least a bit cute)
Me: What's your name
Her: I'm her
Me: I'm Mystique (hand clasp ensues). We ask her about her faculty and she tells me. I see my friend ahead so I tell her "nice meeting you (insert name)". She smiles. I say hi to my friend and before she leaves, she says goodbye with an expression that showed she wanted us to continue talking. Even as a beginner, it was clear to me. Arriving the place for the lectures, I hear the class is cancelled. So I stick around with my friend GB and we're just fooling around. As we head out of the faculty, we circle back because he forgot his charger with a friend. On the entrance to the faculty, I sight a cute one (Jake D I hope you don't mind. Stole that name from ya ;-) standing all alone. I tell my friend my friend I'm curious about her so I need to say hi
Second approach
Standing in front of her I say
Me: I like your sweatpants, it looks cute on you (sexy Damon smile)
CuteOne: thank you (she gives me a really beautiful smile. Name exchange and handclasp ensues)
Me: what are you doing here all alone?
She tells me she's waiting for someone. She asks my department and I tell her. I get to find out hers too. She tells me she's waiting for a classmate of mine. I say OK but change the topic. I've been making my approaches shorter of late as Chase once wrote it minimises flakes. So I tell her I'd like us to get a drink together sometime. She says OK. I ask when she'll be free and she says she's not sure.
Me: OK let me have your number so we can fix that
Her: we'll still meet around (I give her a slight skeptical slight curious look. Stole this look from Damon too). I don't leave things to fate or chance. Why don't you want to give me your number?
CuteOne: I don't give out my number (auto-pilot response)
Me: Wouldn't it be cool if we had a drink together? ( I was trying to be sure if she really wanted to go out on a date with me coz that excuse was funny)
CuteOne: I would like to
Me: you see, this isn't a movie where things just fall in place (now that I thought of it I shouldn't have said that. she's young and all she knows about romance is what she sees in the movies). I don't leave things to fate or chance. (she's still adamant). Alright, take my number. ( After giving her my number, I tell her she can text me and that I really enjoyed our conversation)
I doubt she'd reach out to me though. My conclusion is that she's very young so she's still inexperienced and so she follows the advice given to her by her parents or society: "don't give out your number to strangers". It was obvious that she wanted to still meet me. I catch up with my friend and we head out. A girl who joined my class this semester (I had earlier asked her out for a drink, but she was always busy), asks that we get a drink together. GB and her had been talking before I arrived and she felt shy to say it. GB encouraged her. She said we should do that the next day and I say OK. As we head out, we see two friends walking together in front of us. I ask my friend to guess who's more cute and he says the one at the left. I say OK, let me say hi to her.
Third approach
Me: hello (I smile)
Her: hi
Me: I saw you walking and I just had to tell you you look really gorgeous with your hair
Her: (smiles and is somewhat blushing) whining (this is a Nigerian slang that means flattery or teasing)
Me: trust me, I'm not
We exchange names and handclasp ensues. We talk about her department and for the first time since I've been approaching, this girls banters with me, back and forth. I ask her when she'll be free for a drink and she says Thursday or Friday. I grab her number and say goodbye. This approach is the first time I have opened a girl when she's with her friend. I loved it! My friend GB now thinks I'm super human. He tells me "if I don't learn pick up, let me die!". Haha. We walk around talking. I tell him that today is my day and I need to approach more girls as they all seem to be into me from the start. I also determined that I'll approach a girl walking towards me. I've never done that. I see a cute girl walking towards me and I approach
Me: Hello, wait a minute. I saw you walking and I just had to tell you I really like your skirt (sounds cheesy...lol)
Her: thank you. (she seems really shy and I could tell she was trying to hold it together, even my friend later said he observed it)
We exchanged names and I tried to do the handclasp but she refuses saying she doesn't shake strangers. I say "really, but we're not strangers any more. We both know each other's names". She then tells me she has to leave and I say OK. I didn't care, all I wanted to do was to break that boundary. And I fucking did it! I could have done more approaches but it was getting late. I needed to go home. That wraps up my field report. Gotta rush to school and go do some more approaches. Plus I got classes.
