I'm an 18 year old English traveller in China.
She's a late-twenties, South Korean, chinese humanities teacher.
It's not like we've got much in common, but we're roomates and we sleep in the same room (with two other guys).
I was asking her if she could recommend me a restaurant (with innocent intentions) and if she can show me where it is (not so!). It would of been *very awkward* if i was direct with her upon meeting and she didn't like me, so i played my cards close to my chest.
But she said sure, and after she said that, she said 'I don't know if you're able to, but i'll like to take you to dinner after i finish my work tomorrow, would 7pm be okay for you?'
I tried to reduce my availability down, and ask if she had anything later. She said 'later? but that's already quite late!' And i said: 'okay, i'll try to be there at 7. But i might not if i'm too busy'. She said okay, and she'll be waiting here at 7.30pm. If i'm not here, she will cancel it.
Important: she is very beautiful but also very shy. So it's really hard not to chase without there being a big silence (but she was reading her book at the time).
A part of me feels this is too good to be true. Women don't just walk up to you and offer a date. But i think it might be my lucky day
