So Mystery and Ross Jeffries did a “debate” just now
My thoughts are:
- it’s nice to see them have a friendly discussion given back in their commercial peak they constantly sniped at each other (mostly from Ross tbh)
- a lot of the disagreement boils down to Ross saying seduction is an emotional process the woman goes through that doesn’t have a set order, but Mystery insisting it is a specific sequence. This is one reason I appreciate the VAC model because it models the main components to produce a result but isn’t tied to a rigid sequence.
- Ross doesn’t seem to understand the concept of value. He basically says that we can‘t detect what genes have more survivability accurately. I don’t know why Mystery didn‘y point out that its our own evolved mechanism for attraction is precisely this. He should have said for the same reason Ross would be interested in a supermodel vs a 900 lb woman with a beard, even if he doesn’t logically know which genes are actually better he is still primed to be drawn to certain traits, the same goes for a woman detecting value in a man.
