Need help with texting

Hey guys, I'm noticing a trend with girls I'm asking out. I ask thm out on a date, and I know they like me, but they come up with excuses why they can't go. I will give you an example:
Me: "hey what are you doing at 4 tomorrow?"
Her: "uhh. Idk yet. Why?" She wasn't doing anything
Me: "I wanted to see if you wanted to come over my place and we could watch a movie together."
Her: "my mom won't let me go I've guys houses until I'm 16 -.- tf" I seriously believe her mom said this because I know her, so I persisted
Me: "haha, that's fine. We can just go catch a movie at the movie theather tomorrow then"
Her: "I'll ask"
Me: "ok"
1 day later at 12:00
Me: "hey did you ask your mom we can go see a movie together?"
I have yet to get a response and it's 4:18 so I doubt I will get one. Do you guys notice anything I'm doing wrong?
Also, we were oovooing (like Skype) yesterday and we were talking and she said I was boring because I was running out of things to say and just started asking random questions . I countered it well, but is there any go to things to say so I don't run out of anything to say? Also, I'm going to a dance at my highschool with this girl, and during dances I tend to run out of things to say as well. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Girls not being able to go out on dates/over to your house at that age is normal. I dealt with it a bit when I was your age and frankly in some respects I wish I hadn't have put up with it. Hell, I even found a girl who her parents dictate when she goes out and she is 21 at this point!

It may not be as much of you "running out of things to say" as she isn't reciprocating anything in the conversation which leads you into asking questions only for her to give a dead end reply. You are chasing at that point. Women tend to be more socially calibrated and I find are easier to talk to as they can help carry a conversation.

My suggestion is find a girl who her parents will let her actually go out or come over to watch a movie. Life is too short.

Hey Atlas,

Generally, it's not a good idea to ask directly "hey what are you doing at specific time" without giving her any context as to why you're asking. Because then her response will of course be "why?".
Also by throwing out "at 4 tomorrow", it pigeonholes her into a specific time that she may genuinely be busy at. You should always ask her what's a good time for her.
Then, you were chasing her by suggesting to go to the movie when that wasn't your plan at first. Dont make her into the prize when you should be the prize.
Finally it seems needy when you asked her if she had asked her mom. She said she'll ask so you should have waited for her to get back to you. And if she doesn't get back, she might start to wonder how different you are from all the other guys that would desperately be trying to chase her!

Thanks for the reply guys! Casanovelis, I never really realized until I read your post and actually thought about it, that she wasn't really contributing much to the conversation which caused the lack of things to say.

Michelangelo, I knew when I sent those texts something definitely FELT wrong. I couldn't tell what, but I figured it was better than sending nothing, in which case I was also wrong. I did come of as needy and was chasing her without even knowing it. Honestly, when I was sending those texts is was pretty distracted at the time which is probably why they weren't up to par with the ones I usually send, but I will make sure I pay more attention next time because I now realized those were pretty bad. Thanks again!
