So Monday night i went to Applebee's to watch the first half of the football game before i had to go into work. I was the only one at the bar and a real cute bartender was working there. She was real friendy and we talked for over 30 minutes and it was real comfortable and we were joking and i tried to deep dive as much as i could. We're both divorced with kids s around the same age. And she likes to go to strip clubs and look at girls and even got kicked out of one for getting too wild.
Twice she took a seat on my side of the bar while we were talking. The first time she sat at the end about 4. seats away. The second time she sat just one seat away from me. I took this as a good sign. She even put my beer on the house.
Anyway, she started getting busy and i was debating wether to ask for her number or not. I could just be happy that i had my first real good conversation with a cool girl sense i left my wife and just call it a good night. But i dont know when i woyld be back there, and I would have beat myself up if I didnt ask so I decided i would ask her for it.
So its getting time for me to go but she is still busy and shes talking to an old guy who must be a regular cuz she knew his name. Im pretty shy and I would feel weird asking her number with people hearing and i didnt want to interupt. I didnt want to leave without doing something so I wrote my number on the back of the receipt and gave it to her while i was saying bye. I know this is kinda week but I thought it was a good compromise. It saves us both time, if shes interested she'll text and if shes not interested i wont waste my time trying to take it further.
Anyway, when i give it to her she looks at it and has zero reaction on her face and just puts it behind the bar somewhere. At the time i was pretty sure she saw the number.
Do you think it was weird of me to give her my number? Did it not go as good as I thought? Maybe she gets hit on all day by guys and i was just another one. Maybe Im not her type. Ive always been told I was cute by girls but I'm 5'7" and have a young baby face. Chubby girls love me.
Should I ever go back? I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks
