Chase, I know you've mentioned new material coming for a little while now. If we buy the mastery course do we get access to this new material or just the existing course? Is it possible to purchase this new material in advance and how does the access work? Is it a subscription model where you get access to everything for a monthly fee or do you get access to all of the updates with a one time purchase or do you pay for each installment? I completely understand if this isn't all worked out yet from a product strategy standpoint, I just thought I would ask.

Nope, Mastery is a completely separate product and will be phased out once the new course is live! We'll do a launch for the new course, then take it back down for a while while new buyers go through it, so we can make sure everything's perfect. Once we're ready to roll it out permanently, we'll retire Mastery and take it off the shelves.

New course at launch will be $67 for the core content, and $100 / month for the remaining 9 months of content on a subscription basis. So you'd pay $67 at purchase, then $100 each month for that month's content for the next 9 months, and you'd have the entire thing by the end of it. All the content then is $967, but it's spread out over 10 months to make more affordable.

Right now we're looking at a mid-December launch date. Hopefully won't have to delay further, but I'm waiting until we have more of our edits in to make that call.

Hey Chase,

Why are you taking down the Mastery? Do you feel/think that the newer program is just fresher and more accurate? (Time has passed, you have learned, etc.)

Thanks,

Mr. B

Mr. B-

New course is something the men's dating advice space has never had. New, original model for dating/seduction, close to a thousand research citations all told (120+ in core course and the rest in the modules), and lots of unreleased stuff I'd been saving up specifically for it. So it definitely is fresher!

I would say I think it's more easily applicable than anything else out there, including my older stuff. The GC veteran who joined me for the course as interviewer (he'll be a familiar face to the guys here) told me he can't wait until the course is published and he can talk about the new model... likes it way better than VAC, for instance.

The reason I'm taking down Mastery is because, yes, it'll be redundant once new course is up. If you want results now and you don't want to wait, Mastery's still available. However, I cover 98% of what's in Mastery in the new course, and think I do a better job at it in the new course. Module 2 is like a way meatier, way more detailed, more actionable version of Spellbinding (and 4x the length - and with tons of demos!). And everything in my book I cover in the course, just about.

Basically, if new guys are finding the site, I would rather they buy the new course than Mastery. It's a stronger program. On the business side of things, it's also got a much clearer value proposition than Mastery and I think it'll do a significantly better job of getting guys off the fence and into being both customers of Girls Chase and actively out using the material more. I think it'll also up retention; if I had to guess, happiness with Mastery is probably somewhere in the 80-85% range, with most guys pretty happy, some guys thrilled, but a few guys saying, "I didn't learn anything new," or "I didn't learn anything that isn't in the articles" (to be fair, there is a fair bit of stuff in Mastery that's not in the articles, but I think guys saying this are looking for revolutionary items, not evolutionary ones). The new course I think is going to have a 95%+ satisfaction number when all is said and done.

I won't take Mastery down yet because new course isn't out yet, and I haven't even been able to set a firm date for it (had a lot of logistical issues getting all the footage to our video editor in Germany after our American one looked at the colossal amount of editing ahead of him and just vanished, for instance). But once it's out and we have it as the flagship, it'll be time for Mastery to pass the course. I think it's had a great run, though. Has been a solid program. But next one just eats its lunch ;)

Chase,

I see. This is really cool :). I bought the Mastery package a bit ago and was honestly a bit disappointed in how short the videos were; loved the book! Fortunately, your new one is coming out and I'm looking forward to immersing myself in the content.

Thanks for quick reply!

Mr. B

** A second thanks for spreading out the payments!
Obviously, it's good for selling and good for buyers. Win-win.

Yeah... I had an outside consultant on Spellbinding and he wanted us to whip it together fast. It was too rushed. That was always my regret there - videos should've been longer, more in-depth, and covered more subject matter. Spellbinding was supposed to be a 3-hour audio course, originally, but I never got to script it out.

Anyway, got to do everything I wanted to do with Spellbinding and more in Module 2. We spent months just outlining every lesson in this thing. If you wanted more than what Spellbinding consisted of, I think you'll enjoy the new course.

Quick question, could I choose to just buy the core content instead of having to get a subscription? And if I wanted to buy the other content at later dates?

Raqimus-

Yes. We'll have it set up so you can cancel the rest of the course any time if you decide not to continue.

I'm not sure if that will be doable within the website or if you'll have to email support and ask to cancel (haven't started setting up the site / technology for it yet), but that will be something you can do.

Most likely, if you cancel you'll be able to resume the rest of the course again, either within the site or by emailing support. I wanted for us to have that option, so that guys could leave if they needed to and come back to it later. But we've still got to build the tech first (still lots to do)!

Chase,

I'm considering investing in this course when it comes out. But I have a few questions about it:

1. I'm very excited that it offers a lot of scientific research to back it up. This is the #1 thing I look for when looking at new dating related products these days :) However, I'm interested to know...will you be telling us what the research says directly (e.g. in study x they found y and y is directly relevant to dating.)? Or will you be interpreting the research (e.g. in study x they found y. From y I've interpreted/made the logical conclusion that z is true about dating and/or the topic at hand.)?

For example, is it "I found research which uncovered that women are more likely to have sex with you if they give you compliance"? Or will it be "I found research which shows that people are more likely to continue following your lead and doing what you want them to do if you get compliance from them. From this, I derive that by asking women for compliance, this increases the chance that they will eventually have sex with you"?

Hopefully you understand my question. I wasn't sure how to word it so it makes more sense haha

2. Have you ran into any research which conflicts with what you've taught or currently teach? If so, how did this affect the material that's going to be in this new course.

3. Will it teach stuff which is along the same lines as your current material/articles, or will it be completely different in nature?

Hey Bboy-

If you're signed up to the newsletter list and got the video I just sent out, it's basically like that. Primary differences between the mini course and this course is mini course is more focused on theory (can't give too much tech away in a free course!), while the big course focuses on a lot of tech (plus, still, plenty of theory + mindsets).

But the long and short of it is "Researchers A and B discovered X. What's so cool about X is that it enables you to Y. Here are the three best ways to use X to Y: #1 [details]." Same way I tackle research in articles, basically.

(if you're not signed up to the newsletter, I'll change our autoresponder around in a week or two so that new signups get the 7-day mini course their first 7 days being subscribed to the newsletter, so you'll be able to see that soon)

On your second question, surprisingly not much. I expected to find conflicting research but didn't find a whole lot. The only times I found conflicting research, I was able to find other research that conflicted with that research, and often it'd be settled inline with what we teach. In those cases, I tried to highlight conflicting research in the program, then give guidance from that and based on my experience. So for example, when we talk about looks and how mutable or immutable these are: there's some research that finds women find men with masculine jawlines the most attractive. Then there's other research that finds a masculine jawline does not effect a woman's attractiveness ratings. Then there's research that suggests men with feminine jawlines are most attractive. So I talk about what the ultimate scientific consensus ends up being on jawlines, whether this is something you need to worry about, how large the effect is, and what you can do. These conflicts though are like .001% of the course - kind of an interesting diversion. I just didn't find enough of them to highlight anything new.

The more interesting thing research did, for me, was to highlight things I've seen or done myself, or seen other guys do, that I had never acknowledged as techniques or realized were things you could consciously do. Some smaller examples are stroking your chin as a way to signal interest in a girl (I do this all the time, unconsciously, when checking out girls I like and trying to get their attention; never noticed it as a technique) or that men are more likely to use oral sex on girls they think are more promiscuous. I don't want to give away any of the bigger tech, but there's a lot of stuff like that where you go, "Oh, yeah. Wow. Huh! I guess I can use that consciously now too."

As for #3, it's probably 85%-90% familiar content, 10%-15% original content. The way we built it was we went through every article I have ever written and pulled out the most important points, epiphanies, and techniques, then structured them into discrete modules, and broke each module into four lessons. Essentially, it was organizing everything on Girls Chase (everything by me, anyway) and putting it into one compact, guided course. Once the structure was in place, I then went back and populated all the new stuff from research or just new stuff I'd saved up for the course, and we positioned all the questions and sanity checked it to make sure there was a natural flow through everything and we didn't have weird segments out of place in the lessons or anything like that.

So, I've been pretty excited about the program. It's everything I teach, plus everything science has found so far, plus demos, plus our models sharing their own experiences on the receiving end of various of these techniques (and they certainly came out with stuff that surprised me - I've never interviewed girls so thoroughly on their sexual and romantic experiences before, so that kind of made it a fun little thing to sprinkle in throughout the course).

Right now we're in editing hell dealing with all the annoying stuff. We'll probably have our promotional commercial ready in 2 or 3 weeks though (doesn't look like we'll be ready to launch in time for mid-December; more likely to be mid-January). But it's coming...!
