Ok ive had a good interaction with a girl I work with and I wanted to get some opinions. we were working together and that requires us to be one on one. we normally flirt, tease, hit each other for like 20sec as we walk by each other. now we were together for about 3 hours.
we started off standoffish and it felt weird. because neither of us were having a convo. I think she was just being shy too because we warmed up and had a great conversation. there were some things that makes me think she really likes me and things im not sure of.
sorry if this is long. so she saw me say hi to another girl as she walked by and as I looked at the girl I was working w she seemed kind of jealous. good sign. she asked me if I wanted to hook up with her I said no. because she has kids. she later would go on to say she is good for her birthday. shes single lookin for her prince charming and has no man or kids. good sign referring back to what I said about kids right? she kind of put down the girl I said hi to. not mean but showing shes better. good sign right?
from asking if I would hook up with her she got into asking me about what my type of girl is. good sign. I said all types. she said do you like Asians. I said kind of. her friend came over and the girl said cant you see him with a Asian? the friend said nah I can see him with a black girl. the girl said yea do you like black girls? she is black. I said yea. she later said how she was going to hook me up. but with no one in mind is this just a way for her to not seem so forward asking what my type is. I really don't think she intends to set me up.
next part we start talking about comedy clubs and stuff. to me it seemed obv that she wanted me to ask her out. she said it seems cool and ive never been there before. so I asked who she was going with. and she got a big grin and said you tryin to take me out on a date?? look at you all smooth. now this is where I get confused. because she seemed to be dropping hints. is she just being playful? it kind of seems like shes making a joke out of it. I don't know. I get insecure in that situation thinking shes joking. she later kept repeting it though. saying huh you trying to take me out on a date? saying it a few times over the next 20min. so that's a good sign right? at this point im in mindset that she may be joking though. as work ends and we say goodbye another friend comes over and she blurts out that we are going on a date tonight. don't know if shes teasing or trying to get me to ask her out.
and honestly im pretty sure she wrote her number down on a paper and put it on the table. but she never gave it to me. maybe she would of had the friend not come over at the end. why would she write her number down.
