nightlife when girl is with friends

had situation recently and wanted to know for future what to do,

Was about to leave nightlife/dance place and called uber and saw this cute girl w friend waiting. She was waiting for her friend who was in bathroom outside. Was not noisy at all. Ended up talking with her for a few minutes, super positive and receptive, got her number, but it ended abruptly because her friends (group of 4) dragged her back to dance floor.

Now I WAS technically leaving, but I guess I could have stayed instead. But in that scenario, I'd just be following her and her friends to dance floor and then... I guess just dancing with her? Also would have been impossible/very difficult to talk to her on the dance floor with group of 4.

what is best thing to do in that situation? For some reason I get single-minded when I have an "action" to do and Uber was already waiting for 5 minutes bc the conversation was going so well... IDK just mildly kicking myself assuming the number flakes lol.

well technically she didn't know I had an uber (but I did say I was leaving when met her, which I was)

I was leaving cause there weren't any hot chicks lol but then met her


yeah I guess, I just know for fact we'd vibe really well in future (which is rare) so I just was wondering how else I could have optimized possibly getting texts back/day 2 etc. thanks man we'll see

just gave her my name on text "nice meeting you" etc so if I don't hear back will text her on Sunday one last time and see.. any suggestions if don't get response off initial text?
