Happens to me a lot,

I used to be around social circles where they will always be constant problems, and right now i do meet occasionally. The number 1 way to make yourself "the enemy" instead of attending to the enemy, is

TA DA.... Trying to solve their problems.!

Yeap, you heard it, There are ways to help them solve their problems but they don't want you taking their broom stick (at least most of the time) and clean up their mess. and they sometimes used you for it. So be aware of what the rewards in the friendship you can get, and be good at gauging things.

Just don't help them solve their problems until you know how to, (which is what i am learning at the moment)

I see where you're coming from zac, my best friend tried to help me get better with women, but I was so negative about it and in the end we stopped hanging out. Everyone who has tried to hook me up has failed. It is up to me now.

Zac you hit the nail on the head!

Trying to solve their problems and trying to change people (for the better) isn't just a waste of a time but will repulse them.

Always just focus on yourself. That is what I learned the hard way....

I would also say this is how parents end up pushing their children away from them.

IT depends really. For me, i always wanted a degree of mentorship to me when i was young, but i never really had that, and i resent my parents for some time because there's a lot of things i had to learn for myself, and that includes dating, in a big way.

and yea, i think parents overseeing things is important, but too much is also depends on individual.

I think a parent's job to their children is to support them. That includes mentorship.

But what usually happens is "Johnny doesn't have that many friends" so they trick Johnny in to a play date with people he doesn't like. "Johnny is too much of a push over" so they keep twisting his arm to get him to join football until he caves even though he hates it. They justify it all cause "its good for him in the end" when it actually is not. This is not their place. Your time and emotions are a very valuable things and these situation can cause major harm/loss to both.

The natural feedback is the best in the end. Check out the following video:

BUMP,

and nothingness/truth/awareness is the number 2 step to losing friends, even on Girlschase or anywhere. :D

Truth is boring BECAUSE IT's LITERALLY NOTHING!
