Out Gamed: Buying Drinks

Curious how the socially savvy would handle this?

Back Story: This is the second time meeting this girl. The first meet we grabbed food then made out while I dropped her at her car.

Note: Shes a poor college student and I'm not, shes aware of this. Although this doesn't seem relevant

The next week she invites me out with some friends of hers. When I arrive we hug and say Hi. Then I say I'll introduce myself to her friends who had sat down. I head over and proceed to flirt with them for a bit(Mistake?). Before returning to her at the bar(She wasn't alone at the bar). When I walk up she asks if I want anything to drink, I say budlight and she orders 2 budlights. When the bartender brings the tab she turns and asks me for $6. I laugh thinking she was joking, she doesn't. I then say something like "Haha I thought you were buying my drink?". She maintains a straight face as the bartender waits. I go to hand her my card and she walks over to her friends leaving me with 2 budlights lol.

What would y'all of done different up to, during, and after?

I wouldn't have agreed to go out with her friends!

Next time, decline invites to meet friends before you sleep with a girl. Set up a 1-on-1 date with her where she doesn't have to worry about social norms or social pressure.

This actually happened to me a month ago in Japan, it was the 2nd night of my trip and this group of girls invited me to a club with them... so I've picked up another pair of girls and things went pretty well, flirted and danced with one of them and decided to move her, said we were going to the bar for a drink... she brought her friend with her (which hadn't been my plan). So I've said to my girl, you're buying the first round and I'll get the next round, and she hasn't objected. So she confers with her friend for a bit in Japanese, and I think what's happened is, the bitchy friend has said, let's game this guy... so I point out what I want, and they order for the 3 of us. And now she turns to me wanting money. I tell her, no, we agreed that you are buying the first round and I'm getting the next round... claims they don't have money on them. So I start counting out some coins to pay for my drink, I don't have enough coins and I'm aware that if I give a big note the bartender might just take payment for all drinks. Whilst I'm counting out the coins, the two girls fuck off with their drinks, I've already drunk mine (a shot). So I say to the bartender, "Jibun no dorinku o harau" ... "I'll pay for my own drink". He starts making trouble, so I say "Chuumon shinakatta kara, harawanai" ... "I didn't order, so, I'm not paying". He calls the bar manager over and I stick to my line pretty strongly, eventually they cop it. Needless to say, I have nothing to do with these bitches after.
