Panic attack/s after masturbating.

Hello!

I don't know if this is the right place to post it but I am going under a panic attack right now and it is happening post-masturbation. I masturbated half a hour ago.

It happens many times when I masturbate before going to bed and I get the panic attacks while I am in bed trying to fall asleep, thus it doesn't let me sleep.

How a panic attacks feels like, i believe, is well known, but just for saying, i fear to close my eyes because I think I ll stop breathing or feel like I am gonna die or faint even if I am lying down. Taking up my phone and using it, calms me down and helps me divert my attention, but the moment i turn off my phone and try to fall asleep it keeps coming back.

What i want and what i am curious is to know why it happens exactly after masturbation on an intensified level. I would want to know what could be happening inside my body and how is the masturbation affecting my physiological body state that leads to panic attacks

If anyone has knowledge, information, experience, advice or suggestion regarding this matter, that would be very welcome!

Panic attack is usually a response to some fearful stimuli, to some situation that causes you to be afraid... Maybe you are afraid of being caught? You might have a guilt associated with masturbation, or with the material you are watching...

So if that's the case, try to avoid the stimuli (fear), remove the guilt, possibly remove the material you are watching... First the pleasure of seeing pussy may overwrite the guilt feelings, but once the pleasure is gone, a severe guilt may surface...

Chances are that you have anxiety disorder, so see if you can manage the anxiety as well. I would try natural approach first, such as meditation and relaxation, or systematic exposure to the fearful stimuli while being relaxed...

Sounds serious? Maybe refuse to masturbate for a night or two see if anything changes

I'd recommend going to see a doctor/psychologist about this. They're much better equipped to help you with that sort of problem.

Drck, in this case, I don't think there is a response to a certain fearful stimuli like being caught or feeling guilty. It seems to be like a weakened physical state after the act of masturbation which makes my mind more vulnerable to the stress which penetrates and manifests through panic attacks or anxiety. It also appears to be that it happens mostly and most intensively during periods when I am under a high stress level.
I am curious to know what chemical elements my body is losing that transfers me into such weakened physical state, which allows stress to get over me - so, I could replace those lost elements through food and so.

However, probably I have an anxiety disorder and I would like to ask at what point should it be considered a sort of disease that cannot be treat through self or home remedy like meditation or relaxtion techniques.

I feel kinda stupid to start this sort of topics or ask such questions, but I am actually interested for this sort of questions to be turned into discussion, share of thoughts rather than dealing only with my experience as the object of the discussion. What I mean is discussing generally about the phenomenom if it sounds interesting to anyone to explore, learn or share about it.

Recently I have been going through some changes in my life, like getting a job soon, starting a small online business, which occupies and will occupy most of my time, while I used to be a "computer potato", living like a freeloader. And my body seems to be resisting it because this change of routine means life danger to the primitive mind. I am talking about the concept of the homeostasis and how our body and mind try to force it in our activities and life routine in order to keep a pre-default state which logically could be bad for us, but our body and mind was used to it for a long time and now thinks that that is the best way for us to live and survive, no matter if it really is. I will post a topic about it sometime and we could discuss and share thoughts as I think it is a very interesting thing to learn and know about.

Anyway, I will consider your recommendations and see how I can apply to my personal situations.
