Was going to spend today (Monday) doing just homework but I really can't focus unless I go out and talk to people. So I went to the dog park near my house and didn't really see anyone of interest so I went to the park down the road about a mile.
The First Park
Went to the first park. There was a ton of people out (note to self that later in the day is perfect in the summer for going to the park!) so I walked around a bit. No girls of interest to really meet and talk to, so I left after about 20 minutes. I did chat lightly with a couple people also walking though.
The Second Park
Saw a really attractive woman walking around (yay!) so after passing once (we both were circling around the park walking), the second time around, she asked me how many laps I was taking. I said "a few more" and then told her she looked stunning, having an excellent confidence to her. She said thanks and I asked to walk and talk. So we did. Very interesting person, but she was married (boo). So I just let it be a good conversation and moved on.
The Dog Park
I then went to the dog park again by my house. Not really anyone worth approaching at first, but I talked slightly with a few people and walked around a bit. After a while, I went to approach this one girl who sat on a bench. Come to find out it was a girl from my high school. So that was cool.
I opened asking if she was so-and-so and she was. We caught up a little bit and I asked about her dog. Then I said I had to go in a bit, but would sit and chat for a couple minutes. She responded well to compliments and gave compliance (high five and showing me her nose piercing) but she also was focused on her phone and her dog more than I liked so I started to lose interest (Bad me!). She has her own place with one roommate (logistics I'm looking for - plus she's single, I've seen her profile on Tinder). She also wants to do the same thing as me - which is great.
I didn't get her to the hook point because I was afraid to be more flirty for whatever reason and I had left after a couple minutes because she was so glued to watching her dog. Thinking on it, there was a TON I could've done to get her there (the hook point) so now I'm just kind of like "eh there goes another". I'm thinking of going to the dark park more later in the day when it's not so hot. So I'm hoping to run into her again with her dog one night to re initiate. I'm really going to rethink how I'm doing my approaches because man I wasn't even motivated to trying to get her. I didn't get to the hook so of course I should've tried harder. I need to be more motivated and flirty at the start of the interaction to get her hooked and then I can take it slightly easier from there. My energy just felt nonexistent. I'm probably being too outcome dependent.
Anyways, that was all the outing I was able to do today.
Till the next,
