Hey folks. I come here today with a question; how do you get invited to parties? I've never exactly been the cool guy, which I feel is the reason that I've never been invited to parties. I've always felt like someone who was just sorta there, and occasionally made a joke or two. Sort of the unknown and forgotten, as I put relatively little effort forward. My friends who are guys/girls haven't really ever invited me to any parties or to go out with a large group. Invited to public events like playing volleyball, sure, but private parties with people? I always felt sort of left out when they would go out to a party and I would be sitting there without any invites to do stuff.
Also, how do you throw a party/hang-out where people would have a good time? I've really never known how to have fun with people in just a social setting. Most of the time it would just happen if the right group of people got together, but I want to learn the mechanics to actually creating great times. Usually I'd digress to selecting activities, but that seems so amateur and tends to cost money and create complications. So, how do you create good times with people simply by talking with them?
