Hi, I've recently witnessed what a hat can do inside a night club, a friend of mine had one, and a lot of girls commented on it, I could even hear a few times as we went through the crowd "there goes the guy with the hat".
I would like to try something like that but the problem is it doesn't suit my style. My style doesn't fit with a hat, Though I think I look good, It just not the kind of clothing that goes with a hat.
This Is how I usually look on a night out:

What would you recommend that would get the same kind of reception that can go with my style? a better jacket? maybe a sport jacket or brazer instead of the leather look-alike jacket I'm wearing in that picture?
Is that "he's the hat guy" effect something special? or having a nice jacket/pendant/watch/whatever will create the same attention and girl compliments?

I think this could work for you.

I like a blazer but that's my personal style. What you have works well, you COULD go blazer, what you have or what you have but a bit smaller/skinnier....
If you want a recommendation of a hat to go with you're style then 2 people come to mind:
Pete Doherty and Colin Farrell.... see what they wear... for a club, go with Pete Doherty, Colin Farrells style would work for you but not for a club.
Pete Doherty would be a good fit for your style.

What you need to do is to get yourself a nice fitted black two-tone dress shirt. You would look freaking boss in something like that. Right now, the T-shirt you're wearing doesn't fit, and it looks kinda crappy. If you just replaced the shirt, you'd be pretty much set. The only other thing I can think of is to get a few accessories (like a necklace/pendant) and to have your hair stylist add a bit more texture. You would look pretty rad if you were to wear a style like this (http://weddingdecorationsview.com/wp-co ... onesse.jpg). While I can't see exactly how it fits from the angle of the photo, I'd keep the jacket if it fits. It has a cool texture, but it would look really sloppy if it's even a bit large. All in all, for about $50 ($100 if you don't already have a nice pair of jeans), you could give your style a huge boost!

Or simply... just gel your hair up into a spiky or fancy style....

I've never been a fan of hats, never need it. I get complimented on my hair instead.
