What's up guys, I went on a date with this girl last thurs. What has transpired since then hasn't really surprised me but still kind of made me a little frustrated. No matter how good I get with girls I still get butt hurt when some girls reject me.
Anyways, to cap the date - it went really well and at about the hour and a half point I invited her back to my place for a night cap. We both like gin and tonics and I told her I wanted to make her one (its the only bottle I have at my place). She then replied with "can I do a rain check?". I did persist, something I have been working on. Can't remember the specifics but I said in a playful way "no rain check, come back i'll make us drinks and you can leave after 30 mins or so". I let her know she can basically leave whenever she wants, just come back at have a drink for night cap.
Anyways, after persisting I did lose. She gets up early like 5:30AM and it was already almost 9:30 PM. Anyways, as we are outside waiting for her uber ride, we continue talking and stuff. She actually started planning the next date right then and there! I was pretty taken back, as this normally doesn't happen. I showed my skeptism when I was like "yeah I don't usually plan the next date on the first one". She replied with something like "thats kind of sketchy". I assured her I did wanna see her again and we then laughed about it. Also outside I did persist a little more to get her back to my place but she gave me a standard "what kind of girl do you think I am?". I forget what I said... something like "a girl who loves gin and tonic and wants a night cap" in a playful way.
Anyway, when she gets home she sends me a text which basically said she had a nice evening and would "love to see me again" so let her know when I'm free.
We text briefly the next day carrying a convo from the previous night. Her brother is visiting for the weekend and I go cold until Tues evening. Text her around 7:15PM asking how her weekend went with her brother, etc. She gets back to me the next day at like noon. She basically just answered my question and said nothing back. I pretty much wrote her off when she didn't respond the night before, but once I read that text I pretty much wrote her off.
Anyways, I ended up responding in the early evening... around 6PM. Basically asked when she is free next.... and once again... she doesn't respond until the next day (today) at like 2 PM. Saying shes basically busy this weekend but can probably meet up next week sometime.
I pretty much left it at this and didn't respond nor do i intend to. Just shows you how what a girl says in the moment and how she feels days later can change. This one eerked me more than usual because of her strong expressed interest to see me again.
