Picking up around your family

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with picking up girls around my family, even when it's just me and my dad I fucking suck. I just freeze and get stuck in my head, I don't really act like me if ya know what I mean. If anyone overcome this let me know I would love to figure out how I can become comfortable picking up girls around my family (They actually encourage it).

Is there any particular reason you want to perform pick-up around your family? I can only imagine that it would completely throw me off my game as well, but I've never tried it.

At least until you're completely comfortable with picking up women, I would stick to picking up women by yourself. We teach you to use sexual intent on this website, so showing signs of sexual intent to a woman in front of your family is naturally going to feel very awkward and probably be difficult to pull off, especially if you're still learning.

I find this happens to me when I am out with friends, occasionally I will do an approach, particularly if I want to explain / demonstrate PU to them, and it never seems to go well, I think partly because it is approval-seeking behaviour "hey look at me, I'm so great, I can get girls"... and partly because it's difficult to commit to an interaction if you're not fenuinely ready / willing to ditch your companions and go off on an insta-date or whatever -- you're keeping track of them, minding their emotions etc and it distracts from being in the moment. That's not to say you can't approach -- sure, give it a whirl -- but be prepared for disappointments and unsatisfying interactions that could've been great had you been free / in a better headspace.

I feel like it's mostly to impress my Dad. My Dad and mom both wan't me to get sum "coochie" as mom would say. My father (Both biological and the man who raised me) are both good with women, so even when I was awful (low confidence, low belief, terrible posture) I still had women that wanted to fuck me in highschool (never made a move because I didn't think sex was possible). So like ray said it's like an approval seeking thing.

Thing is my dad is like late fourties 200 pounds overweight( He was once jacked), and short. Yet when me and this guy wen't to grab some burgers for dinner he was able to hook this incredibly cute hispanic girl, great body nice face in a matter of minutes. Wheras I'm just standing there with my dick in my hands. After he said yea "I've dealt with her type, blah blah blah dad stuff, I was hoping you'd jump in and take it from there.(He doesn't know his lay count but he past 100 in his late teens, he said he'd become friends with girls then would be fucking them (totally bragging here)) So it's just a matter of wanting to step up to the plate. Hope this wasn't too much :/

Recently came back from a huge family ceremony and I was trying the hardest to pick up and use the things I have learnt so far (sexual vibes and moving etc.), and it just didn't feel "natural"; rather forced.

So I got sad. Yet the place was teeming with two people I had fucked way way back by luck (in all modesty) when I had no clue about game, and one of them who I had tried to but had a failed mating attempt with - she was being super chatty with me and still moving when I asked her. Not sure if I should still try her especially since she's giving off the friendzone vibe.

Anyways, like Ray and even Franco(didn't think you'd have the same problem boss!) said, it might be better to do it on your own for a bit and then slowly let them in or even better, let them stumble on you doing game. Here, you may not say anything to them but they'd see your results and that's bigger than any plate they would put in front of you to step up to cause you would seem like you created your own path and they are joining in your party!

P.S. Anyone has any idea what I should do with the girl who I failed in my mating attempt with? She was out of my mind till this weekend and she's not inviting me to visit her and i haven't either. I had a FR on her bout a month ago.

Well, first you have to identify why it's holding you back (despite them encouraging it), then once you know why that is come back and I'll help you out.

I never had a problem with this - I've picked up chicks in front of my mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, you name it and they've probably seen me in action. Only one person has seen me make-out with a chick when I first met her (my brother) but it's really no big deal.

I've been rejected, yelled at, and brushed off in front of them and I just linked back up with my family like it was no big deal. It's really nothing to be worried about.

I would attribute it to afraid of failure in front of them, and like Franco said it feels kind of awkward being sexual in front of your family. I just want to break the mold that I had formerly established with them.
