Picking up girls in lounges and upscale bars...

I always do day game, where I talk to the chick for 3 - 7 minutes, then get the number and set up a date later in the week. Now I want to start doing night game at lounges and upscale bars where I can meet classy and professional ladies...

QUESTION: for guys experienced in lounges and upscale bars (i don't mean noisy and loud night clubs), how long do you guys think I should make the interaction last before I invite her home to watch a movie ...

I am thinking more like 30 minutes after I see any indicator of interest...

I wouldn't put time on it like that. What if she was ready for you 15 minutes into the conversation, but then got bored because you chose to talk to her for another 25 minutes?
Do your magic while observing her body language and gauging her emotions. If she seems open, she complies, invests in the interaction, asks about logistics like where you live or who you live with, or any combination of those good signs, then pull. If she's giving token resistance, then persist with charm. See if there is anything that you need to address, such as her friends who she came with. If you misread her and she declines to come with you, take a step back and work your magic again. If she doesn't seem interested after a few pull attempts, then move on.

i think I would stop following my 30 minutes rule...
I usually put a time of about 30 minutes when on a date before I ask her to come watch a movie in my place...
its programmed in my head...

The advanced answer is: when she's ready to be pulled. This could be 5 minutes, or it could be 1 hour. If you can read her body language and gauge her reactions, as fsc mentioned, then you'll know when the right time is.

The beginner/intermediate answer is probably 20-45 minutes. This is usually a safe range to pull in as it gives you time to get comfortable (and for her to get comfortable) for you to make the request, and it's not SO long that she feels like you're just a "nice guy" wasting her time (if she's actually looking for a guy that night). Generally I'd say that "sooner rather than later" is best to make the request. If it seems like she's really into you, I would start setting up logistics immediately by just asking her "so where do you live?" and getting right to the point with her about how close you guys have a spot that you can escalate together.

Usually at bars or clubs you have to be persistent as well because, most likely, the girls will resist on the initial request. Confident and playful persistence for another few minutes can make the difference.

I never saw it that way...
I was always robotic with my 30 minute rule... (i always set a reminder on my phone to let me know when its time to ask her to come watch a movie)
as for clubs... don't really like clubs... in my city, it is crawling with runs girls (u know, high class whores/hoes)...
i prefer the more laid back lounges and upscale bars in the high brow area of my city...
