Hi Guys,

I'm back after a very busy summer working abroad where I met a couple of cute and beautiful women and girls as well, including a ballerina, a young adult girl who was still a virgin and the girl who is going to be the hero of this topic. (Recovered from the bad break-up faster than expected after all).

The last girl I mentioned I suffered a broken condom with on the first night together. it tore a bit at the top and most of the biohazards still appeared to be where they should be, but it was definitely ripped. I told her a morning after pill would be the safest option, but she had very bad side effects from the normal pill and really did not want to take the MA. 'It's going to be fine' she assured me...

Then soon after I found out it was basically her most fertile day of the month AND that she is entirely against abortion. No exceptions whatsoever. It's alive as soon as it's alive and has a God given soul from day zero. She is quite strongly catholic, I'm quite progressive to say the least, so our values really do not align here.

Fast forward and now she is a week overdue and so tomorrow she is going to take a pregnancy test. Since I am still having my hopes up and I can also still think straight I would like to ask you guys for any advise on what to do. I have zero influence on the decision making from hence onwards and don't feel like spending my life together with this girl. She is a sweetie and quite cute, but honestly I prefer women whose body odours drive me completely mad in the long run - and hers is not entirely but still quite the opposite - and who share my values a bit more.

To sum up my decision making so far:

I don't want a baby right now, since I'm not in a (financial) position to take care of one. As an artist I'm basically on the brink of being broke most of the time and life in Western Europe is much too expensive these days. Also, I still want to work on my career.

I'm not interested in staying with the girl long term and I'm definitely not going to marry her.

I am not entirely against being involved in the child's life but for sure don't have the time to travel 700 km every weekend to pick it up or deliver it back.

I am as poor as a church mouse so not too worried about being pressed for financial support. I do think a voluntary contribution would be nice and responsible, though.

I will probably not recognise it as my own - although there is no doubt it's mine.

Now, I do think trying to find an agreement together would be preferable over a lawyer and judge involving conflict as they always favour the mother, especially since she is 14 years younger than I am and with this trend of men being abusive predators taking over discourse here for the past decade. Anyway. If you have any wise words, please chip in.

PS. If the test turns out negative, which I will know in twelve hours, I will let you know of course.

Thanks for the help, skills. Considering how close to her also religious parents she is in what is also quite a religious and conservative region I don't think any amount of talking will change her mind, though. This is intrinsic. She will go to hell if she aborts - which lasts much longer than a lifetime of dealing with an inconvenient child.

But, the test was negative. No period yet, though, so no cheering allowed.

Yeah, life happened to you alright. The answer? Talk with her. Tell her you cant be in the babies or her life and that she has to take that into account when making a decision on whether to keep it or not. Allow her to decide for the worst situation and then make the best situation out of it after her decision.
