potential date with hot chick, dont want to fuck this up

ok in last few weeks i met this chick who wanted to meet up tuesday last week but then she said her dad got admitted to hospital so she said it would have to wait til this week, and said that she'd text me last weekend, which she didnt. it's now been a week, do i leave it for good or text her saying something like "hey how are things with you and your dad, hope things are getting better" as I dont want to push for date for risk of coming across as indifferent to the fact her dad's in hospital, also she's got important family issues to deal with. plus another thing, do you think girls make up stories that bad stuff has happened to family members, like deaths or illnesses? because i got another message from a girl i banged a couple weeks ago saying that her best friend got killed in a car crash, and that she couldnt talk to me for a while for this reason. This was after she had been avoiding to talk to me for a good few weeks.

My suggestion is to give her the benefit of the doubt. If she is lying to you you will find out sooner or later depending on how she reacts to you..

I think you would have an idea what she is saying. Pay more attention to what girls do and less on what they say. How has she treated you lately? She ignored you!! She ignored you for weeks before her best friends "death" and then say she can't talk to you..I say she playing you and you could be better off chalking this one as a lost cause.

Give her your condolences and let her know she can get in contact with you then leave it at that. In the meantime go find some other girl(s) to chill with.
