Potential Hotseat Scenario

How would you handle this situation?

You are a guy who is dating multiple girls at once (who is of course, single, by definition). You bring one of the girls over to your house for drinks and a movie. Your roommate then says:

"Does *girl who is with you* know about the other girl(s) you are seeing?"

What would you do/say? I don't think my roommate would ever do this, but it got me thinking...

Here would be my options:

• (1) Have a sit-down conversation with your roommate about not openly discussing your romantic affairs while women are present. Tell him that it may put you in a really awkward position, and even though you may be single and just dating multiple women, it still makes her have to worry about things she shouldn't have to worry about, and it's only because he brought them up. In other words, talk to him about the "bro code" and why violating the bro code is NOT cool.
  
  (2) If option 1 fails and your roommate is totally against your ideals, then get a new roommate.

It's a pretty short list, but I would never tolerate a roommate who is not at least SOMEWHAT socially calibrated and respects my privacy with women. If he doesn't respect my privacy, and talking to him doesn't solve the problem, then you need to find a new roommate. Don't let one individual ruin your lifestyle and love of women!
