I usually don't recommend this, as even if you can't talk for a while, in my experience it's better to just drop off the map for a bit, then pop back up and set up the date when you have the time. I'll tell girls I'm on travel or will be out of touch for a few months, and they'll often text me when that time is up trying to see if I can meet up then... or if they don't, I do, and the reception is usually still warm.
