From looking back at my past seductions, I seem to be having a problem with being in/out of state. Some nights, I feel great, do really well and kill it. Others, I don't like talking, go off by myself, and just chill in my room. Anyone got some articles/advice for not depending on state/getting in the right one?

Another thing to keep in mind is the "mental reset". For instance, hockey goaltenders all have a "mental reset formula" they adhere to after getting scored on. Most (if not all) grab a sip of water immediately afterward. This is what the fans can see. But what the fans don't see is a list of things the goalies go through in their heads at the same time (and very quickly since they still need to guard the net!). This can involve a number of things such as what they did wrong, how they will avoid it next time, and, most importantly, that everyone lets the odd one in. They need to let it go and focus on the immediate future, otherwise, they focus on the negative and hit a mental downward spiral often followed by a series of goals. Once the coach sees this mental breakdown, he sends in the back-up goalie.

Same thing goes for us guys when we go out. Maybe you lose your "state" after a few rejections, or maybe you're just not feeling it. What I do in these cases is a get a red bull, look on past successes, remind myself why I'm out and what I have to gain. I may even internally shout something along the lines of "It's f**king go time!"
