I feel stupid having to write this, but:
Don't use ChatGPT, Bing Chat (which is just ChatGPT rebranded), Google Gemini (God forbid), or anything else to write your forum posts.
We can tell, and you will be banned. We just banned a guy for doing this. He even had a genuine account years back, then didn't log in for years, then finally logged back in and everything he posted was some transparent GPT response.
Badly-written LLM-written content is exploding all over the Internet, like a bunch of 5-year-olds who've learned how to copy-paste out of Wikipedia trying to make themselves seem like authorities on things.
I know a lot of people like LLMs. I know there's a lot of hype (though not as nearly as bad as a year ago).
However, these things have a long way to go before they're able to produce content that doesn't sound brain-damaged, and that actually delivers usable information.
Until such time as someone ACTUALLY achieves artificial intelligence (~200+ years from now, if ever), this forum is only going to accept posts written by actual human beings, not silicon-based neural networks.
Thank you.
