If you see her checking you out , go and approach her and start some sort of conversation , even if it goes bad (what's bad really?), you got the XP and you are one step closer next time.

She went cold because attraction expired , and getting back on track is hard , but you can start a conversation like "i saw you looking at me the other day so i wanted to say hello" , and even if she is auto-rejecting and says "i was not looking at you" , i would make a bored look and start the conversation anyway.
