Question about nightlife venues (Miami Gamers get in here!)

I know that @Teevster had some good posts on nightlife venues but I do remember reading a while back on Girlschase that the most ideal venues are cocktail bars if your goal is to pull. Lately, I have been going out a lot to practice cold approach and just in the past two weeks, I started to notice a difference. I will name drop the venues on here and Miami Game guys like @Skills and anyone else doing Game in Miami can weigh in.

One venue that I went to on weekdays with a wing was this place called Sugar/Tea room in Brickell. It is a rooftop bar and we noticed that our sets lasted longer and we actually ended up bouncing a two-set from Sugar to a couple nearby venues. Almost pulled and closed, wing and I got a great makeout but ultimately could not close but we are just now getting back into consistently doing nightgame again.

The other venue is one near me called Regatta. For all the Miami OGs, you may remember The Wharf in downtown back in the day. All the PUAs and Game Guys were here on a Friday. It is the same exact layout. All outdoors with some food stands and then one canopy area in the middle that is indoors with music and a dance floor. The venue has a few things going for it:

1. Lots of outdoor space
2. It is massive
3. You can hear people easily
4. It has activities like a couple ping pong tables outside

However, I have noticed that in gaming in this venue, there are a few things I run into:

1. Large Cliques
2. Way more bitchy women
3. Way more guys looking like they are obviously gaming and cold approaching

I am hoping Miami locals can weigh in because I do like going to the venue given its size, the bartenders being nice, and the view being amazing.

However, is this kind of a venue actually a mirage?

Like on paper it should be great for Game but in action, me and so many guys I have gamed with struggle here while in the venues of Wynnwood, Brickell, and Miami Beach, we have pulled and occasionally closed.

The main shift in night game in this new environment is that it has become a new extension of social circle game.... Most commercial puas and authoritys were in an era were this was not the case... Just keep going out and trying different venues and do field and lay reports were you go in detail on as much as you can remember to see what can be done better or things that have worked for those guys in exact situations... But one thing i notice that has switched from previous years and I consider the most important now a days is venue selection it trumps as of today everything else in my opinion.. second is your presentation for the demo of the venue... This is my new epiphany for 2025 as of now... don't know if things will change, it sucks cause I say one year something, next year I have to change to something else... But i think the issue night game unfortunately is social circle game which i hate, but my opinion...

Dude tell me about it, I am going to write about my actual experience with Social Circle Game at some point and tell you what I hated about it, why it is more trouble than it is worth.

So a further break down and when I find time, I can do field reports too but will talk about my recent experiences more at Sugar vs. Regatta. I have also started to go out a lot so no doubt I will have more reference experiences. I will also do daygame breakdowns in The Grove vs Brickell.

Sugar

Very common to run into tourists here and three sets. Not as many sets here as it is a rooftop with tables and one bar area but you do find that there are a couple that are definitely looking for the right guy. I feel like we had at least 1 two-set that was DTF but my wing was a terrible closer and the other 3-set, not my type at all but my wing opened so I tried to stay in there as long as I could.

There is also Tea Room which is a place you have to get stamped for but whenever I have gone there, I have had a bad go at it.

However, so far, Sugar seems to have at least a couple of sets that are DTF.

Regatta aka The New Wharf

OGs in Miami Game remember The Wharf. Here is Regatta below and a famous PUA doing an approach there:

By the layout, you can tell that it SHOULD be optimal. I am almost wondering if the thing is a mirage though because the food areas you see in the video? That is where all of the cliques are.

Here is another video, same PUA but again, the only one who has posted infields of himself in this venue:

Thankfully, it is summer which means that a lot of the University Of Miami kids are away so those cliques are not flooding up the food area. They are god awfully tough to penetrate and are massive in size (up to 10 people). This makes it effectively social circle game and you are stuck trying to find the one group that is down.

However, I also notice the mood of the women is a bit different when I approach there versus Sugar and venues in Brickell.

My worst rejections, especially the ones where a girl is trying to be a b1tch, have come from this venue. The women seem to have higher b1tch shields here.

The advantage is that the venue is quite large so I think if you look hard enough you will find the one or two sets that are receptive.

Maybe this is one of those venues that is almost like a nightclub where you play the numbers game.

The other thing I will say is that as someone who is transitioning more into cold approach the past couple years since being banned from the apps, one thing that is new to me are the rude rejections. Even when I cold approached in nightgame in NYC, granted I was a bit drunk, I rarely if ever encountered a rude girl. Here in Miami, I am finding that while there are some pleasant women here, in nightgame you run into some downright nasty women who are going out of their way to be rude and turn you down.

At times this does mentally get to me and ruin my state. I especially encounter this rudeness at Regatta and in the past, encountered it at LIV. Like girls not just turning you down but going out of their way to be rude and outright disrespectful. I am going to work on this part of my Game.

You should not be getting harsh rejections...

Yeah, they are not normal to me until I started to Game at Regatta. I think Alex from Playing With Fire had a video of this Black PUA from a while back doing game at The Wharf back in the day and the woman he was gaming was so hostile.

However, I am happy to meet more guys on this forum on a Friday at Regatta and we can do group sets together but for some reason, in this venue in particular as well as at LIV (though less frequently), I have gotten harsh rejections. Granted at LIV, the night I got the harsh rejection, I was dealing with a toxic Wingman who was seriously draining my state.
