I upgraded my wardrobe and I was wondering if it would be counterproductive to wear dress shirts and suits to a highschool? Will it come out as looking like a stiff?

I'm not the best person to give you advice regarding this, but I'm sure that the only way to know for sure is to go to school wearing your dresses.

However, do you think you can upload some pictures of your dresses?

Unless you go to a private school that requires suits as part of the dress code, you're going to look really out of place. I'd stick with a cool pair of jeans and some fitted casual button ups. I'm currently rocking a similar look in college. American Eagle has some really great heather button ups right now without a prominent logo that go really well with denim. I'd start there.

A good pair of shoes really goes a long way.

My school is private, the uniform is awful, but at least I can wear any type of shoe. Suede shoes and chealsea boots are my bread and butter but I suggest you find something that fits your style well enough.

A killer outfit could be easily ruined by ugly shoes..

Good catch! I always forget about the shoes when giving fashion advice because I forget that a lot of guys don't know how to spot good shoes.
