Quick Number Get

There may be information on this but I haven't seen it yet. The situation is I stop at a convenience store most mornings to get a coffee on the way to work. Once in awhile there is an attractive lady worth approaching. The problem is everyone is in a hurry to get to work or school. You can see it on their face and body language. A couple of days ago a pretty lady was there and I wanted to approach but I wasn't sure how to make a quick number grab that would not end in a flake. Later on I thought something like this might work.

Me: Hi. Crazy morning isn't it.
Her: Yes.
Me: I saw you and just wanted to tell you that you have great style.
Her: Thank you.
Me: I am SGent. (extend hand to shake). Nice to meet you. And you are?
Her: XXXX
Me: I am on my way to work so I need to go but I would like to get to know you better. Let me have your number and we can get coffee sometime soon.
Her: OK. (I hand her my phone and she puts in her number.)
Me: Awesome. You have a great day XXXX.

Does this sound like it could work? Any other suggestions.

Sounds plausible. if anything its a model of chases's number crescendo diagram. the girls is confused. she is at an emotional high point. also prone to errors of judgement errors cause you rush her. It reminds me of how i normally do number closes using a bit of nlp. In hypnosis, (stay with me here), there are 4 types of commands

Authoritative-" put your head on my lap". ( about a tenth of the population responds to this because noone likes being told what to do.)

Passive- "relax. when your're ready...feel free..to put your head in my lap" ( 70% percent responds to this)

Confusion-" you notice the color of the wall, you feel the warmth of your seat, feels good right?. you are aware of your breathing. tap your head. rub your tummy. Put your head in my lap." (ordinarily, only works on 13 percent of people unless of course you're a suave pua and a pretty damn suggestible one normally when we # close between high points this is what makes the hb so suggestible for compliance and number closes.

In your what,3, 2 minute, maybe 30 second number close you're using a form of confusion.Though im worried your flake rate might rise because little to no comfort can be accomplished in 30 sec. but that just ,my 2cents.

The hypnosis stuff is interesting. I agree that authoritative and passive would not work in this quick scenario. I am guessing the flake rate will be 90% plus due to not having time to build comfort. Also with the low rate of women worth approaching is this will be a real low rate of return approach. Maybe 1 or 2 dates a year. I see maybe 2 women a month worth approaching. But if I look at it from an investment standpoint my time investment is very low. It may be worth the effort.

From personal experience, I can tell you rn that this won't work unless you have REALLY solid fundamentals. It's likely that she will give you her number, but won't reply. Your interaction needs to be at least somewhat memorable to her. An alternative to this might be to plan something for later that day. So before you grab her number, you might say "Hey, what are you up to later today?". If she says she's not doing anything after work, you might try to grab her number under the pretext that you'll see her when she gets off.

Having said that, I doubt either of these approaches will have too high a success rate. Your best option would be to just have a conversation with her. If you can't do that, know that grabbing her number is unlikely to get you anywhere (still better than nothing though, so I'd still recommend doing it!).
