You just met a girl and the guy friend who is chasing her says to you "isn't she beautiful", everyone stops to listen to your answer.
A girl brings up that I went to this or that venue (with her) a month ago, busts my balls for the 11th time about "looking at the pretty girls" (we spoke about who was pretty because she brought it up). I say "I don't recall seeing a lot of pretty girls at X place". Her girl friend goes "Why, my friend here is very pretty isn't she?"
Yes and no are both bad. When it's a guy I guess I could deflect with "you really like her don't you" and put the spotlight on him.
. . .but when it's a girl? Ask her if she's attracted to her friend? haha
