Hey guys!

Got something to share with you all here. For a long time, I've been keeping track of quotes that inspire me. The journal is around 60 pages and counting now! Some of you might enjoy reading many of these and reflecting on them. There's a lot of wisdom hiding out there...men have been talking about life, love, and seduction for ages.

I'll post a quote or two here for you all every once in a while - most times along with the source and with the most accurate author possible. These are going to be ones that I consider very profound. Please feel free to add to it if you have something you admire; I'm always looking for more. Of course, they'll remain relevant to seduction/self-improvement

Here's #1

"Love is an ideal thing, marriage a real thing; a confusion of the real and the ideal never goes unpunished." - Johan Wolfgang von Goethe, 18th century German writer and politician

"A good man is exciting without being reckless...considerate without being boring...macho without being uninteresting...intelligent without being bland...and dominant without being demanding." -David Deida, author of "The Way of the Superior Man"

*note, if memory recalls, Chase has written a review of this book

*Note: I do not condone woman beating! You may consider what Machiavelli wrote her as more of what Chase talked about in his article about the need to be a bit of an "asshole" and the need to be a "dominant" male.
For my part, I consider that it is better to be adventurous than cautious, because fortune is a woman, and if you wish to keep her under it is necessary to beat and ill-use her, and it is seen that she allows herself to be mastered by the adventurous rather than by those who go to work more coldly. She is, therefore, always, woman-like, a lover of young men, because they are less cautious, more violent, and with more audacity command her. - Niccolo Machiavelli; 16th century Italian historian, politician, diplomat, philosopher, humanist, and writer

Here's a quote G_P that a 50 year old O.G. hood told me one day after I got off work a couple years ago. This guy was pretty much homeless but always had a good attitude and was very warm with whomever he met/gave him money. I used to work at a surf shop downtown where this guy would frequent the gas station next door (which was really a front that the lady who worked there dealt drugs out of). I was smoking a cigarette on the side of the surf shop and this O.G. comes up limping holding something quite large beneath his shirt tucked into his pants, and drinking a beer. We knew each other and he would always share his street wisdom with me and we'd trade stories. I couldn't help wonder what the fuck he was hiding and sure enough he was eager to show me when I inquired. He pulled his shirt up and pulled out an automatic sub machine gun (have no idea what it's called) in which he was very proud of. I couldn't help but to ask why he needed a gun of that caliber in little downtown Pensacola. He said
Son in life the game stays the same, the only thing that changes is the players... and around here lately some of the players are in need of some changing, long term.

Now this guy was talking about taking players out of the drug game in my city that weren't playing "fair" but I think it's a quote that can be applied to seduction as well. Essentially the game stay the same but we, the players, are what changes. Change takes place constantly usually at a rate you can't really even feel but we can choose to intentionally change or let nature take course and it will change us. One you take control of and the other you relenquish control. Always be intentional... just don't go killing all the unethical seducers to take their women.

Here's one I've always loved, from the 2001 movie Serendipity (one of my very favorites, and Kate Beckinsale is to die for):

  • Jonathan: So are you gonna meet your boyfriend now or what?

Sara: No, I think he's out probably doing what you're doing.

Jonathan: Getting a crush on somebody else's girlfriend?

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit; Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. "Yes" is the answer.

We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.

I didn't fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian

"It's like being a cell phone salesman. Imagine some guy out on the street trying to sell a crappy Nokia phone that came out 10 years ago. He'll have to be the world's greatest salesman, right? It'll take hundreds of attempts. Now imagine a guy trying to sell the new iphone out on the street. His work load will be far, far lower. A lot of guys out approaching just don't understand this; that's the difference between tactics and value." - Paraphrased statement on cold approach pick up from a guest on Justin Wayne's podcast
