Hey guys,
Wanting to re-connect with a girl I dated previously and slept with once. Would appreciate some advice here.
Background: Went out with this girl several times and moved too slow - definitely missed some signals/escalation windows by failing to persist against her resistance to take her home (before I discovered Girls Chase). She ended up friend zoning me at which point I followed the advice on here and made myself scarce (I had been too available etc before). Anyway, I got her chasing me hard after that, agreed to go out with her again a month later and slept with her that night - (persisted through her resistance that time - thanks GC, and it was super easy once I got up to her place). afterwards she asked me to stay over at her place, which I did. The following week she was still chasing and came to meet me at 2am when I was out in her area with friends that night. Hung out for a bit and had a drink (just the 2 of us - she came and met me and we went to a different bar nearby), then tried to get her back to her house but she wouldn't go for it saying her sisters friends were staying there - small 1 bedroom apt. I had no logistics as my place was a 1/2 hour drive away. Hung out with her a bit longer kissed her a bit and then left (again I'm new to this - would have taken her into an alley or to a park or something now that I'm more knowledgeable). Next night she was texting me again to meet up to watch a movie, texted a bit with some delays back and forth and then she said it was getting too late for a movie, but we could meet for a drink. Went down to her place and apparently there was a miscommunication (she said she didn't know I was coming and ended up upset I showed up at her place to pick her up), lol. So I was pissed I went down there and she flaked and she was upset I showed up when she apparently didn't know I was coming...she didn't answer the door. Didn't talk or text for a couple weeks - I reached out and called her 2 weeks later and apparently she was upset i showed up bc she had an ex that did that and he had a bad temper so it scared her. I didn't see her again and she moved to a different city a month later. She is back in town again now and I would like to see her again.
I texted her following some advice on here as follows:
Me: hey, I was at X last night and it reminded me of the fun night we had there...and your mad ping pong skills
Hope you're doing great.
Her reply: fun! great spot.
Her reply: all is well, hope you're doing great!
I haven't replied to that yet. Was seeking any advice as to how to reply to that to eventually get her out again. Btw...Love this website - great articles and a great forum - keep up the good work all!
