Hello, Chase.

Could you add a "Read later" feature to your website's articles?

Sometimes, when I see a new article that I like, I feel excited to read but at some particular times I may be too tired or busy to get into it. Then, new articles come up and the article I wanted to read sinks down and I forget about it until it so late, that the article sunk deep and I either find it trouble to scroll down or do it but think I have read or do not remember which one I planned to read.

Therefore, a feature like that would be a miracle. I would know how many more articles I have to read and would be easier for me to access them.

BONUS FEATURE!!:

"Favorite articles"-feature.

Through this feature we would be able to re-read the articles we liked and found uselful mostly and also for easier future access.

We will call you a saint if you are able to grant us these wishes! Haha.

Have a good day,

Ezio.

Ezio-

Just added these to our list of features to add.

Right now, we have two different devs working on various features for the site. One's knocking out big structural stuff, while another's tidying up odds and ends. Will try to get something like this added in the next month or so if possible.

In the meantime, do you have any websites you can link me to that do this, so I can where / how we'd want to implement buttons like these from a design standpoint?

Hey,

Thanks for taking my suggestions into consideration. I believe strongly that these features will be loved by the visitors.

I don't remember any particular website similiar to Girlschase or any type of blog with articles that got these features. Probably, I have never seen one.

Here I show you some ideas:

1. Similiar buttons could be like the ones to save videos or links for later, in Facebook. See the save option in the drop list of any post in Facebook.

2. Youtube got the option "WATCH LATER" in its videos. Check that.

3.Other similiar buttons can also be found in wholesale and market websites like Aliexpress, Ebay and other commercial sites like these. There you have buttons like: "Favorite store" :)add this store to your favorite stores)", " Wish list" :)put this product into your wish list).

I researched and also found this link that got some wordpress plugins that carry these features function:

http://www.wpsolver.com/read-later-plug ... wordpress/

That's all I could find so far regarding your question. Feel free to ask me anything further.

These features are very doable and not very hard to implement. These should be pulled out by every decent web designer and developer. Might take a little bit of investigation to find out how to implement them, but again, it is not hard work and can be easily implemented.

By showing you these options, I am counting that your devs will look at the ideas above, get into the respective sites and do some reverse-engineering through checking the code of the buttons in mentioned websites. If they don't want to do exactly that, there are tons of straightforward and easy to implement information on google.

Until next time,

-Ezio.
