Ok so I wasn't originally going to post this, my ego is sky-high as it is right now, but the repeat occurrence is bothering me.
I was having this convo last night with a girl on the phone (one of my close friends, she's also got excellent game and has hooked up with lots of high quality guys):
All I made of that was hey ego boost that was nice, this Girlschase stuff really works, no big deal though...
Then today I'm at work (I smell of sex at this point, which may have prompted the convo) and was talking about a Midwestern girl coming to visit me. The female coworker I'm talking to says this:
At that point I did a cold read on her and started to seek common ground, talked about books etc.
I have been upping my arrogance and it's evidently paying off. But how does a relative beginner to game manage these sorts of situations (both praise and gossip) and come out on top?
Love y'all

At this point I made a sarcastic self deprecating yet also dickish comment (I think I teased her about trying to flatter me).Me: I'm basically your mystical wise old black man, but inexplicably hotter.
Her: inexplicable?
Me: Well...both explicably and inexplicably.
Her: that actually makes a lot of sense.
Me: what? Explain.
Her: you're very good looking (I credit fundamentals more than looks, intermediate as they are), so that's the explicable part, but you also have that badass asshole side of your personality that makes you inexplicably hot regardless of looks.

coworker: are all your friends Midwestern girls?
Me: no, why would you think that?
Her: idk you just seem kinda like that.
Me: like what?
Her: no never mind.
Me: tell!
Her: well you seem like you party a lot and talk to lots of girls. I can see why Cheryl (another coworker) doesn't like you. We were talking a lot about you the other day.
Me: yikes!
At that point I did a cold read on her and started to seek common ground, talked about books etc.
