Saint Louis dating scene

Does anyone here any experience with the dating scene in Saint Louis? It's not an area that I hear of young professionals looking to move to, but it is a big city (pro sports teams, multiple entertainment districts, etc.) so I wonder if the dating scene for mid/late 0s could be decent there.

I recall reading a comment fro Chase a couple years ago about how the Saint Louis women were unattractive, but I am haven't been able to locate that thread at the moment, and am looking for opinions from anyone who might have experience with the area.

I guess a better question to ask would have been:
Are the women in Saint Louis hot? I once read a comment from chase that said “Saint Louis is for the dogs” or something to that effect

Because if your already there or are guaranteed to move there, it’s very simple:

Go out and approach!

Thats the best way to figure out what kind of women live there

Bigger cities like: NY city, LA, Miami

all have more people and attract people for different reasons

also because there’s more people, the dating scene is more competitive and you get people trying really hard to become more attractive

For instance, I’ve heard in Toronto a lot of the guys are jacked in order to keep up with the competition

Women have to keep up too, and that’s why you’ll find hotter women in the bigger cities

But there are hot women everywhere, just big city women have to try harder to stick to beauty standards

Big Metropolitan areas also tend to have better nightlife more high end clubs, you can find some really stunning women in the high end clubs

So if your trying to move someone for game, I suggest a bigger city

But if your stuck with Saint Louis, it’ll do the job

Simply because there’s enough people to never run out of women to approach

And if you only like 1/10 women there and there are 100,000 women, you still have 10,000 women to choose from. And that’s enough to live your whole pick up career there.

So don’t sweat it

I may end up moving somewhere for a job. I haven’t been offered the job yet but think I may soon.

Right now I am in Tampa working remotely, but may need to switch jobs so and the new job might not be remote.
Saint Louis prolly isn’t terrible but it’s not on a list of places I would have ever wanted to move, per se. somewhere in Florida, Nashville, Charlotte, etc. would be my preference in an ideal world.

It's the 13th most dangerous city in the world. You got a lot of hoods like this there:

In general, hot women flee dangerous cities. I can't find St. Louis on any lists, but a couple other of the most dangerous cities in the world (Baltimore & Detroit) feature on numerous "US cities with the least attractive people" lists.

Of the current 20 most dangerous cities in the world, I have visited three, and was not impressed with the talent in any of them. The correlation between dangerousness and hotness is an inverse one, so far as I can tell; the more dangerous the locale, the fewer hot women you will find there.

Anyway, I haven't been in 14 years. Doubt I'd ever go again. Maybe I just hit up the wrong places but the talent was definitely lacking and the ratios were not in men's favor anywhere I went. Even just walking to venues you could tell you were not in safe areas.

Everybody has different tastes though. Perhaps you'll get there and find it's just to your liking?

If it was me and I had a choice about which city I moved to, I'd pick somewhere with fewer shootings, stabbings, and muggings that also has superior female talent.

Thanks for the insight, I was hoping you would comment! I have decided to visit this weekend so I will report back with my thoughts after. My work situation is tricky and I should probably get out soon, so I am at least considering it. I booked a place in the Soulard neighborhood, which is supposedly one of the best neighborhoods for bars/young people, so we will see how it goes.

I feel that there is an obvious racial divide that I wasn't expecting even in the neighborhoods that are considered happening.

I felt that the nightlife near may airbnb is pretty good and the straggler definitely stoke out less at that point than during the middle of the day. I general it seems like the women here may be worse looking than the men though.
